Stayed four nights. Quiet location and lovely internal courtyard/garden. All the reception staff spoke some English for which we were grateful, high standard of breakfast and cleanliness throughout. Loved the decor and the tiny lift added to the hotel's character. Felt secure and there was a free safety deposit box in the wardrobe. Being English we missed the coffee facilities...

We enjoyed our stay. Nice breakfast in the morning. Convenient to the Metro and the front desk was always courteous and helpful.

My 14-yr old son and I spent a week in Paris. We selected Nicolo because of its excellent reviews, and we were not disappointed. Very comfortable. Great breakfasts. For dinner, we sometimes bought take-out at the bakery and cheese shops just down the street. We then took these into the garden of the hotel. The garden has a lovely sitting...

The hotel is well placed especially within walking distance to the Eiffel Tower and the central part of Trocadero. However, the lift was not big enough and the service always forgot to replenish on toileteries which were used overnight. Breakfast was a nightmare as we would always wake up early in the morning to be served with the same things...

Wonderful, friendly, knowledgeable staff who spoke English (and didn't mind doing so!); close to lots of good, local Parisien restaurants and shops; close to Metro and Eiffel Tower; room was larger than anything else we've experienced in Paris - and we had a double sink! We've visited Paris quite a few times; the neighborhood is the best we've experienced, and...

We stayed for nine nights. Arrived after 1am with no problems at all (the room was ready and the person at the reception knew who we were before we said anything - very friendly, by the way). Our room was in front of the little garden the hotel has. We had the breakfast there every morning which was just delightful....

we booked this hotel based on the reviews from trip advisor and i am glad we did. Everything that had been said on this web site is true. My #1 reason i gave this hotel a 3 for service is that, the day we arrived, the guy who was working in front desk was very very very rude he almost...

We were traveling with a 1.5 years old. Hence we were concerned about the 2 stars of this hotel. But reviews on tripadvisor convinced this is a good hotel. We are very happy we chose this one. We had a wonderful deal on price for booking upfront and so on. Thus we got price twice as low as average 3*...

We used Hotel Nicolo for two seperate one night stays last week to split the train journey (recommended by the way) from England to the South of France. Both nights where quiet, the rooms clean and perfectly adequate (the second being on the top floor had a view of the top of the Eiffel Tower!). A lovely continental style breakfast...

We chose this hotel from the reviews on Trip Adviser and I'm very glad we did as it more than lived up to our expectations. Arriving after midnight because of a problem with our flight we were grateful for a warm welcome. We were delighted by the very stylish decor and the quiet and colourful courtyard garden. We liked the...

Staying in Trocadero

Neighbourhood Profile
Trocadero
This is the neighbourhood of grand and impressive Haussmann-designed apartments and buildings. National museums overlook the Eiffel Tower and embassies fill the avenues and streets. Locals head to the butcher, florist, or bakery on their daily rounds amidst luxury and splendour, all with a view over Paris and its most famous tower. Snuggled in between the grand buildings are small art galleries and homes of historical significance. With a rich legacy from 19th century politics, art, and architecture, you can’t help but be reminded of the belle époque, the Universal Exhibitions and the nobility that have frequented and shaped these streets.
