We stayed for two nights in mid-August 2009. We had room 36 - a triple room facing the inner court-yard of the hotel. The hotel was spotlessly clean and pleasantly decorated throughout. The reception team were welcoming and helpful. I booked a room via their website a number of months before our trip - 180 Euros per night for a...

If you are looking for a nice, clean, and quiet hotel, this is it. Small rooms, but that is Paris for you. Close to Eiffel Tower - 15 minute walk. Close to metro - Ecole Militaire. Safe area, no need to worry if you travel alone. Close to Rue Cler area, great affordable French restaurants. Staff friendly and helpful. Would...

Hotel Muguet is a clean tidy hotel in a good location in Paris. The rooms are not huge, but clean and tidy and as long as you only want to sleep there, they are fine. This is not a hotel in which you want to spend time relaxing, it's functional and a good base for exploring the city. The breakfast...

Hotel Muguet was an excellent choice for our family of 5. We had rooms 61 and 62 on the top floor, both with views of the Eiffel Tower. The staff was friendly and very helpful for our first visit to Paris. Located on a quiet street only 2 blocks from Rue Cler (for Rick Steves fans). Air conditioning was a...

Great location a block away from the main Rue Clair area, close to metro as well. Thought it was a great value.

We stayed here only one night as a last night in France before flying home the next morning. I chose it based on some reviews and a google map search when a couple of the other nearby places I wanted to stay in were full. This turned out to be a huge favourite of our family as compared to the...

This place was perfect for my girlfriend and me. Good value too... In June 2008, we paid 100 Euros per night per single room. Not bad considering it's a nice hotel. The rooms are very tiny, as can be expected in Paris. There is not much room to walk around the double bed, and when you are sitting in the...

Location - about a 5 min. walk to nearest metro station (Ecole Militaire). A few cafes and restaurants near metro stop. Rooms - We saw three different rooms during our stay and all were clean with new bathroom fixtures. One of the rooms was a bit cramped, but not out of the ordinary for a European hotel room. Had a...

My wife and I and another couple recently spent 8 days in Paris and stayed at this hotel on two rooms on the 6th floor for the entire stay. This was our first trip to Paris and other friends had recommended this hotel as good value and comfortable. We were not disappointed and quite pleased with the stay. First one...

We enjoyed our 7 night stay at the Hotel Muguet. The room, albeit small, was comfortable, very clean and air conditioned. It is located on a quiet street and is convenient to metro stops, rue Cler and other major avenues. We found a number of restaurants withing walking distance. It was close to bakeries, super markets and an outdoor market....

Neighbourhood Profile
Tour Eiffel / Invalides
With the Eiffel Tower at its core, the Invalides area of Paris is guaranteed to impress. Golden towers and Baron Haussmann's urban vision meet military precision, stretching avenues, and luscious lawns. The area boasts the Musée D’Orsay, the tomb of Napoleon, the National Parliament and UNESCO, as well as luxurious, exclusive residences. In fine restaurants and at the weekend markets, families, diplomats, and politicians brush shoulders with the tourists who come to see this postcard-perfect area for themselves.
