I stayed at the "Imperial hotel" for one night when I came to Paris to see my parents who stayed at this hotel throughout the entire week. The hotel is located right in the center near the Jewish synagogue (hence extremely secured) and near Galeries Lafayette so it's perfect for shopping. The entertainment area is just a couple of km...

If you are looking for a hotel for your business trip in a center of Paris, Imperial is a good choice. Clean, quiet, safe. The furniture is not new but it is clean. The staff speaks English, there is a elevator big enough for two/three people with large luggage (nor so common in smaller, older hotels). I can recommend it...

This is a nice hotel. Its on a quite street, safe and easy to get to. Across from a synagogue so there is always security outside. There was no breakfast but a nice cafe around the corner with the best crepes sweet and savory. Yum!! Close walk to the Louvre or to the main areas

We stayed their with our family, we enjoyed it very much, though it is a bit little but has very good location, close to all central shopping centers, museums, galleries. It is located just opposite to Jewish Synagogue. It has good free WiFi .Free breakfast included.

My family and I stayed here for one night traveling through Paris. The gentleman at the front counter was very nice, courteous and answered any questions we had. The location is decent, but there isn't much near the hotel in the way of food or entertainment, however, it is only a few blocks away from the subway. The room was...

Front desk people were very courteous and helpful at all times, room and bathroom were small but clean. A/C works wonderfully. Room has a safe and a small fridge. Beds were a little bit hard and pillows not so good. Hotel is pretty close to the metro and there are nice cafes close by. They also offer breakfast but you...

Small is size but big in heart. Located perfectly to walk everywhere in Paris within 15 to 20 minutes. Set in a quiet street in a safe area and with 24 hours front desk it feels secure. Also very friendly and helpful staff. Room not big but with everything you need, spotlessly clean and with a good shower, fluffy towels...

This is the third time I traveled to Paris and the first time I stayed in this hotel. The location is excellent. Its right in the center. The hotel is closed to most of the major tourist attractions. I ordered a taxi to cdg on the last day and the taxi was right on time. As for the room, I...

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
