Me and my partner spent four nights in this hotel and absolutely loved it! The room was a good size for Paris and had a very unique and stylish decor. The bed was absolutely huge and extremely comfortable, just what you need after a long day exploring the city! Our shower was very powerful and spacious. The free wifi was...

This was our last hotel in Paris and we enjoyed staying here very much. The room was well designed and we loved the black walls and silver and gold features. The speakers in the bathroom where also a nice touch. The hotel was also very near to Gare du Nord-Montmatre and Rue Lafayette. Breakfast was good too. We would definitely...

A very nice hotel. My room was big enough with a double-bed for a single room. The bathroom was nice too but it didn't have a magnifying mirror, where the majority of hotels do have now. The only hitch in the bathroom was the shower. It didn't have a proper shower. I've never seen a shower like that in my...

We love this area of Paris but we were disappointed because the room was very dark with very poor lighting. The water closet had black wall paper. Even with all the light turned on, you could not see to put on makeup. On the plus side, all of the personnel were extremely nice and helpful. They made up for the...

Excellent value for money. Staff were really good and helpful. Cannot complain about anything in our stay here. Would recommend for sure. Location was perfect, walking distance to most major attractions. Longest was a 45 min walk to Eiffel Tower.

Good, modern and freshly hotel, silent accomodation, friendly staff. We booked a room with terrasse, beautiful equipped, only a little bit too dark. The room was clear and always quiet, we heard nothing from the other guests. It was a perfect stay.

This is a trendy hotel not far from Montmartre. You can expect a warm welcome from the staff and a good breakfast. Our room was very dark with some black walls and subdued lighting which made finding things a bit difficult. Even the toilet was black. I can see that a lot of people would love the effect and it...

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
An impromptu pied a terre or a Parisian holiday address for an extended stay, Hotel Eugene en Ville offers guests superior hospitality with spirited service. The emphasis is on creating a mixed palette of styles. The raw-finished walls and industrial furniture poke fun at more traditional features and appointments. Dark Victorian patinas, ornate mirrors and candelabras, soft, cosy armchairs and curios – all handpicked from antique shops and markets – create a style that is at once refined and iconoclastic. The chemistry is simply compelling. On the same eccentric register, a giant screen shows snippets of life inside a luxury hotel: an unconventional film that takes a witty look at an establishment that is well and truly frequented in every sense of the word. The hotel has inherited the sort of elegance that never seeks to look overly sophisticated. It possesses the kind of charm that always feels spontaneous: that truly Parisian effortless chic that Eugene holds the secret to. ... more   less
