Hôtel Adèle & Jules earns high marks for its prime location, which many guests find convenient for exploring nearby attractions and accessing the metro, despite some reservations about the surrounding area. The cleanliness of the hotel is widely celebrated, with rooms often described as immaculate. While opinions on value vary, the consensus is that the comfortable amenities justify the cost for most. The thoughtful in-room details and personable service contribute to an inviting atmosphere, and the hotel's amenities, including free tea and coffee, are frequently lauded. However, some guests note the rooms can feel snug.

The service we received from arrival to departure was extremely personable helpful and polite. The rooms are small, this is typical for French hotels, but the rooms are SO well equipped and beautifully decorated - the bed was comfortable and the shower had great pressure. Lighting was functional, I was able to read in bed, the curtains were blockout, always a plus. We didn't eat at the hotel. Great location.

My husband and I stayed here for a week at the recommendation of Meghan from Wit and Whimsy (highly recommend her service, Paris, Perfected). We were here in December 2019, when the large scale metro strikes were occurring. The hotel was wonderful in accommodating us pre-arrival by securing a private car from the airport for 95 euro, it was more than that for an Uber during the strikes.
The room was great, small, but that was expected for Paris. The location is wonderful, being so close to a metro station, close to amazing food and great neighborhoods.
The staff was incredibly kind and courteous. They helped us navigate the best places to eat and drink in a short walk, talked to us about the weather, what to see and what to avoid. They were even able to call and book a spa appointment for me.
One of the best things about the hotel is that they have an amazing coffee maker available 24/7 and every day from 4-6 they have a little "treat" hour, with croissants, juice, and snacks. It's a great refresher when you have been out and about and it holds you over till a later dinner.
We just loved this darling hotel and I hope you will as well. If we are ever back in Paris, we will stay here again and again.

Dear Emily G, It is a pleasure to read such a positive review ! First of all we would like to thank for following Meghan from Wit and Whimsy recommendation and for choosing to come to Adèle & Jules despite the difficulties linked to the strike. We are delighted to read that you had a lovely time thanks to the hotel location, the 24 hours coffee machine and above all the kidness and the quality of service provided by our staff. We really hope you will be able to experience a stay at Adèle & Jules without any metro strikes and remain at your disposal should you need anything. Kind regards, Kevin Tas Front Office Manager

Welcoming staff, efficient and nonobtrusive, with rooms decorated with taste and refinement: attention paid to the color schemes and quality of materials (great bedding, well designed funiture), high ceilinged room, comfortable and modern bathroom. Maybe the biggest plus is the location in the heart of the city but on a sort of private courtyard: exquisite calm, peace and quiet. This is really exceptional because the hotel is central to so much of Paris, yet once you cross the threshold it's restful and relaxing. Another plus is the boutique hotel size: no crowds, no lines, the agreeable feeling of being in "your" Parisian apartment building. A very happy discovery. I'd mention too the staff's attention to covid19 precautions: I felt safe and cared for.

Dear Mr Kildaire, Thank you so much for posting this comment following your stay with us. We are delighted you were pleased with the service as well as with the rooms and bathrooms. Thanks very much as well for pointing out all the sanitary measures we have taken, following this incredible period. It is true we have taken many sanitary measures to ensure the best of environnements for our guests (Hand Gel, Screen protection at the reception, social distancing information, proper sanitisation of the rooms and premises, training of our staff), but we also think about making our guets's stay a memorable one with the service we provide, thanks to a dedicated team. We surely hope to see you back in Paris with us very soon at Hôtel Adèle & Jules. With our best regards, Nicolas

We handpicked the hotel based on the great reviews we had read - good location, friendly staff, authentic feel etc... on the whole, the hotel was fine however it's never good when a hotel promises amenities on its website and then can't provide this service. I always book hotels that have air conditioning as we all like to be cool at night - the website clearly states individual air conditioning for each room. We had booked a family room (interconnecting rooms) and when we checked in and got into our rooms, we found one of the rooms the be very hot. I could not work out had to get the air conditioning on so asked reception when we had unpacked and were making our way out. We were told that this service was not available as they only currently provided heating ! I spoke to the manager Nicholas about this and said it was totally unacceptable and it should not have been on the website. He seemed relatively disinterested and offered a fan for out stay. As we were there for 2 nights and on a tight sightseeing schedule we had no choice but to stay. The fan did not work and this a fairly restless night ensued as we had to sleep with our windows ope and the following morning a few mosquitos were flying around the room (thankfully noone was bitten). The following day two working fans were provided. The second morning the hotel fire alarm went off at 7.50am. Everyone rushed downstairs to be told that it was a false alarm as someone had burnt the toast in the self service breakfast bar ! There was no apology, just the fact that it was only burnt toast. Many of the guests did not seem happy, especially as the breakfast room is still staffed. The rooms themselves were comfortable (not so much the pillows) however for a young family, not ideal, as they are not standard interconnecting rooms - they are 2 separate rooms which are accessed via their own room key off a private corridor, so with heavy fire doors and sensor lights in the hallway, not ideal to leave 2 young kids in one room and the adults in the other. The bathrooms are tiny and in one of them, hardly any room to sit on the toilet without doing yourself an injury on the toilet roll holder. Not a cheap stay, and for someone who has never left a negative review for a hotel before, I was not impressed with the way the manager / owner dealt with my complaint, even going as far to be unavailable on the day of checking out for a 4 hour meeting ! Needless to say, when we head back to Paris, I won't be staying at Adeles & Jules again.

Dear Z4424DFleec, We thank you for choosing to share your experience on Tripadvisor. Of course, your dissatisfaction leaves us with the sense of having to improve on many aspects, and we would like to revert to you regarding the several issues that went wrong during your stay. Anyhow, and as a general rule here at Hôtel Adele & Jules, we are never disinterested with problems faced by our guests, or comments they have regarding their stay with us. On the contrary, it is our priority day and night. - The fire alarm did indeed go off on that morning, and I can understand your disappointment, especially if the communication was not given to you in a correct manner. A burnt toast initiated the triggering, and our apologies if the communication at the time was, in fact, unapologetic. Clearly that is a point to improve on our side, and I thank you for highlighting it. - Regarding our communicating rooms, it is a shame you did not let us know during your stay that you wished to have both doors opened, as we have special door blockers designed for it. Many families indeed ask us for it and are delighted, some prefer to maintain the doors closed, as the keys we give you are able to open all doors of the communicating rooms. - As for the A/C, we did try to find a solution during your stay, and I am truly sorry if it was insufficient. It is true that our air conditioning works wonders when it is warm outside. During Autumn or Winter months, or when it is less than 8 degrees outside as it was the case during your stay, the heating mode is applied throughout the hotel. Of course, the temperature in the room is left to the guest to decide. He or she can also decide that the system be turned off, which is easily made thanks to the remote control placed in each room. With our best regards, Nicolas

We stayed 8 nights and found the Hotel Adele and Jules to be the perfect spot for touring and experiencing Paris! The service was exceptional, especially Arnaud at the front desk who was so kind and friendly — even going so far as to run a personal errand for us! We chose to have our (included) breakfast delivered to the room each morning and it was always on time, delicious, and bountiful! The rooms are charming in decoration and very quiet and comfortable. We slept so well! We found many cafes within steps and major shopping is in walking distance. The metro is also close and we found the location central to many of the sites where we chose to go. So much more intimate and hospitable than a chain hotel.

We were a family of 6 visiting from Canada. We stayed for 4 nights. We booked two family/superior rooms. The accommodation was excellent. The set up was excellent with two inter connected rooms being regarded as one family room so in effect had 4 rooms which provided plenty of comfortable space for our family. The rooms are lovely and decorated with plenty of attention to detail. You really felt you were in a very high end boutique hotel. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and accommodating. We emailed in advance for help with a restaurant reservation as the restaurant was not responding to calls. Arnaud responded to our request and went physically to the restaurant to make a booking for us. Wow!! The location of the hotel is good with a few metro options close by and plenty of restaurants and grocery stores within a 5 -10!minute radius. The only neutral comment on location is that the main Paris sites are mostly 20-30 minute walk so most likely will need the metro for those visits. Will definitely stay here again.

Truly wonderful boutique hotel, staff were absolutely outstanding and couldn't do enough for us. We stayed in the cosy room which was just that but perfectly formed, clean and the decor was spot on. The added bonus of the free afternoon tea was lovely. The only, literally the only negative was the toilet paper was cheap which you wouldn't expect to have in such a nice hotel. The location was very central to everything and all landmarks seemed to be 30 minute walk away so very convenient. Rooms were quiet, if slightly hot even when heating was switched off.

Dear Jaime222red, Thanks so much for your fantastic review, we are delighted that your stay with us was a success. It is true our complimentary afternoon tea time, everyday from 4 to 6PM, which also serves a variety of cakes and fruits and juices, is very much appreciated by our guests. As for the toilet paper matter, I am delighted to have the first feedback from our customers since we decided to go "green" on that subject, a couple of months back. Because it is a serious matter :) I take your point, and although we will stay within the recycled range (this is our internal commitment), we will definitely try to get a better quality. Thanks, really, for giving us your feedback. Hope to have you back soon with us in Paris. Kind regards, Nicolas

This hotel is a real hidden gem. The staff were extremely friendly, the room (ground floor, standard) was beautifully furnished and immaculately clean, the breakfast was lovely - cereals/croissants/yogurts/cold meats and cheese and also sausages and scrambled eggs. A wide selection of complimentary teas and coffees are available all day in the cosy lounge. The hotel is just minutes away from The Grand Boulevards Metro station and is in very close proximity to some wonderful bars and restaurants. We will definitely be returning! Thank you to the hotel team for a fabulous stay.

We visited for five nights in July 2021 just as COVID restrictions were lifting and had a fabulous stay. The room was very clean and thoughtfully designed and decorated. Bed and linens were very comfortable and the room had central air and blackout curtains (helpful for jetlag sleep in early July). Staff was friendly and very proficient in English. Hotel is down a alley so noise is not a concern and one block away from Metro and restaurants. Would stay again in this hotel without concern

2nd Visit in 2023 to Hotel Adele & Jules.

25th Wedding Anniversary Trip (3 nights in Paris).

Excellent small boutique hotel with great service.

Room was beautifully arranged with Balloons, Cream Puffs and Champagne (special welcome amenity) to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. Very clean.

Nice touch of free coffee / tea all day. Free 4 pm snack of freshly squeezed juices, fresh fruit and pastry.

We stayed in Club Boulevard Room which is a little larger than other categories. Beautifully decorated, quiet room with Balcony. Highly recommend to spend extra euros per night for this room category, if you are not a single traveler (i.e. travelling as a couple).

Note - 4 star hotel. Do not expect five star hotel / services. The hotel is at the top of 4 star hotel range, in my opinion.

Negative - Some items are starting to show some wear and tear and should be replaced - carpet on stairway and upholstery on certain couches / sofas in the dining area.
