It pains me not to give this place 5 stars, because the staff is so delightful. All of the front desk staff spoke English pretty well, which was very helpful when I needed directions or for them to act as a concierge temporarily. They also offered wake-up calls as soon as I got there. I felt pretty well protected as...

Thank you for your comment. You were using a single room so of course it is smaller that a double room. Our single rooms have shower and the newly renoved one have a door instead of a curtain. For the double rooms (12m²) , it seems our guests are happy with the size of the rooms and the bathroom. We...

Something was under construction so it was noisy during the day time. The quality of the elevator was not so good. The staff was helpful. The location is nice with many restaurants shops just in walking distance

Thank you for your comment. We are sorry for the noise, we are making some works in 2 bathrooms (it will finish at the end of April) so it is a little bit noisy between 9am and 5pm. Best Regards Fabienne

Stayed at Hotel France-Albion for 4 nights, in March 2017. To cover the main points of our stay: Check-in: Quick, friendly, informative. Location: Handy to the metro, with Perache and St George's stations nearby. Near many restaurant options, theatres, and 15 minutes to Printemps and Galeries Lafayette. Rooms: The room was a bit tight, but modern and renovated. We were...

We stayed here for 3 nights. Although the rooms can be considered a bit small we realised that its similar with many hotels in Paris. This place offers a wonderful spread for breakfast. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. I would like to specially mention Henry here, we had an early morning train to catch and Henry went out...

We have stayed at this hotel many times, and we wouldn't stay anywhere else in Paris. It is extremely well-run by professional, helpful and well trained staff. Rooms are very good, and quiet. Position is perfect. What more could one possibly ask for?

Friendly hotel however small room. Well located at 9arr, less than 100 meters from the metro station of line 12, station Saint Georges. Breakfast with quality products and kind service at reception. But take care: Very small rooms. We can stay for a weekend, not more than this. Little room for two suitcases from a couple. Elevator small. Recommended for...

We are just back from our weekend in Paris and I had to say how much we loved this hotel! The location is perfect, really handy for transport and also felt very safe, quiet and lots of cool little shops around. Our room was very clean, modern and nicely decorated. Breakfast is charged extra but worth it since the local...

I had a great stay here. Compared to other hotels in the area it was really well priced. The location was perfect, close to 2 metro stops and walking distance to some great restaurants. The staff where lovely, room spotless and the facilities good. My only really small negative where whilst a kettle was provided there was not tea/coffee. But...

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
