The Decor in Hotel Joke is a breath of fresh air ,mirrors are used with great effect . Even though this hotel is located in a busy area you wouldn't think it as it's peaceful and quiet . It's situated mins from the Moulin Rouge ,there's lots of shops , restaurants,cafes ,mins away .There's plenty of pharmacies and a Monoprix supermarket mins away . Which is handy . Great area ,Sacre Coeur, Musèe de Monmartre,Dali Museum are in this area . The air conditioning is great ,not noisy ,easy to adjust and the room was cool as we stayed during a very hot week . Each of rooms had a welcome tray with sweet treats ,crisps and a small bottle of champagne which was a lovely touch and very much appreciated. The beds were very comfortable. I would like to commend the hotel cleaning staff who are doing an incredible job.This hotel is so clean. The bedrooms are pristine .The bathroom was immaculate. Our room was on the ground floor right beside the breakfast area but it was noisy ( the disabled access room / shower room this room didn't have a bath but that didn't matter to us as we prefer showers ) Our room also had a cute little courtyard but it was shared with another room ,unfortunately. This hotel doesn't have a bar but each room has a fridge / complimentary mini bar that is restocked with soft drinks every day which was very much appreciated. Complimentary sweet treats ,coffee ,various soft drinks as available in the foyer every day . The breakfast area is small and the breakfast is mostly continental with a few hot items which suited us as a family It's good for families and love travellers as it felt safe .
*Minor issues * *Travellers from the UK & Ireland who love a traditional fried breakfast ,sorry you won't get that in this hotel ,get over it you're in Paris !( There's scrambled eggs and mini salami type sausage only ) *Our room had a trip Hazzard going into the bathroom on the floor would need looked at ( where bathroom tiles meet the carpet ) *Make sure you give the door a bang when you leave to ensure it's locked. * I wouldn't recommend it for the disabled as wheelchairs would struggle to Manoeuvre this hotel as it's small . * We couldn't cast content to TV as it only seemed to work with iPhones. Not a big deal .
Upon leaving we received a lovely parting gift of a wash bag filled with goodies ,a lovely touch .Thankyou .

We stayed 4 nights in a Superior Double Room. The room is very spacious with an extra large bed, a sofa and a desk with chair. We heard no noise from the street and also little noise from other guests. Very nice that non-alcoholic drinks from the minibar are free. The bathroom with shower and toilet is compact but fine and clean. Clean deliciously thick towels every day. The breakfast was top catered with wide choice with also luxury sandwich fillings and was very hygienic, everything was continuously refilled and kept clean. We could also have coffee or tea with chocolate rolls and wrapped cookies all day. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. When we checked out we even got 2 bottles of water for the road. There are snacks in reception through the day though they were pretty basic. Free drinks in the room were appreciated. I am very noise sensitive and the hotel staff kindly put me in the back of the hotel away from the street. The walls though are thin so you are a bit at the mercy of who is staying next door - I was generally lucky except for some screaming kids at the end of the trip. Most Parisian hotels in older buildings have the same noise issues so not really the hotel’s fault. Overall a really good trip and I would recommend.

I booked the hotel online directly on their website. Where it asked for the reason for stay, I mentioned it is for my boyfriend’s birthday.
When we arrived, hotel had upgraded our room free of charge as a surprise for my boyfriend’ special day. They also organised champagne and snacks for the room, a very pleasant touch and a nice surprise.
Hotel was clean, calm and felt safe. Staff were professional and very attentive. Room was spacious, very clean and offered a beautiful street view. Breakfast was lovely and certainly kept us full till late afternoon.
We had booked the 11 pm Moulin Rougue Show, finishing after 1 am. Hotel location was ideal, only 10 minute walk from Moulin Rouge and saved us waiting on a taxi when the dhow was finished.
All the little cafes and nice places in Monmarte were also in walkable distance.
Eiffel Tower was approximately 30 min dive in an Uber and we paid approximately 18 EUR for the trip.

Stayed here for a few nights with my two children, the location is great with a couple of Metro stations within an easy walk, can get to the Arc de Triomphe in 15 mins. Lots of restaurants nearby and can walk up to the top of Montmartre in 15 mins. Our room was actually 2 inter connected rooms, the one at the back of the hotel very quiet, the one at the front slightly more lively but I liked that. I would also recommend the buffet breakfast, open from 7 to 11 and only cost 10 Euros extra which I thought was great value.

We arrived before check in. Staff was very accommodating offered us water and snacks while waiting for our room. Rooms and elevator a big on the tiny side but nevertheless rooms were clean and well stocked . Mini fridge stocked with juices and sodas daily for occupants use( free ). Small balcony ,the beds were comfortable and nice size bathroom. Free breakfast consisted of sausage and eggs can’t say menu changed but again included in hotel price. The lobby had a plethora of snacks cakes, cookies, pastries chips fruit drinks and soda make available to occupants until 2:00am. Staff encouraged taking some along on daily ventures. Hotel located down the street from Moulin Rouge and in the center of town also near public transportation. We enjoyed our stay at this whimsical hotel , was very kid friendly. Oh and those staying at this hotel have access to other Joke Hotel amenities throughout Paris . Highly recommend especially families traveling with children.
