Had a 3 bed room, and it was lovely. Super clean, okay location, and in general a very charming little hotel (loved the windows and views of the street). It was definitely more than I expected! Nothing fancy, but definitely recommendable!

I stayed at the Grand hotel de l'avenue for 6 days; the room was clean and comfortable. The hotel is very easily accessible to the Republique metro and travelling was a breeze. You may well want to try out the nearby cafes and restaurants for breakfast and other meals. Explore the neighbourhood on foot and you will come across lovely...

We stayed in two hotels whist on a week stay in Paris. Both of similar price. This hotel was far superior. Room had big beautiful windows, clean bathroom, comfy bed (pillows no good, but , big deal) This place was a lovely, comfortable and clean place to come back to after a day walking around paris in the summer. The good things are: - location - price - cleanliness The bed things are: - thin walls between the rooms (man next door had normal telephone conversation around 1am and it woke me up). - no tea/coffee facilities in the rooms.

We stayed at this hotel for 1 night. Grand Hotel de l'Avenue is very well situated in the center of Paris, great for a city trip. Our room was small but ok, window and heating worked fine. What we liked the most was that it was really clean and the bed was comfortable. Small bathroom with a big shower. No...

1st time visitor to Paris and stayed here for 5 nights, room is clean and basic. Payed 71 euro a night which to me is expensive but compared to other hotels in Paris (and everything else to) it is not that bad. Staff were very pleasant, its located in a nice area and would stay here again.

The room was cozy and very clean. The bathroom had lots of space and a window. Most of the staff was really friendly. The metro is close, Republique. The only anoying thing was the noise of the doors from the other rooms opening/closing in the morning, meaning no sleep from 7 a.m. onwards.

I have 3 musts: Cleanliness, private bathroom, service. Cleanliness: Spotless. Private bathroom: Yes, perfectly clean. Service: Nice lady in the reception desk, doesn't speak english. The guy in the night shift speaks a little but, but is always grumpy. If you're lucky, you get the nice young guy in the afternoon, who does speak english. Pros: - Very well located,...

Stayed here this week with my 5 y.o. son. Was first visit to Paris and area seems to be reasonably good, with Republique Metro station's close proximity meaning you can get anywhere with no real fuss. Plenty of cafes etc around, and laundromat round the corner. As with all buildings in area, the hotel is in an old classic Parisan...

We really enjoyed our stay at the Grand Hotel de L'avenue. The room was a good size (not huge, but nothing is in Paris), the facilities were just fine - the location was great as well. Very close to the metro stop and in a good part of town. The staff spoke great English. Beautiful exterior.
