The hotel room was small but adequate. We had a party of 3 in our group. All the beds were twins as we requested and the 3rd was a murphy bed (also twin). The bathroom was very well sized with a modern shower and sink. The first 2 nights we were there, we were sweating our butts off despite turning...

Our stay at the l'hôtel Paris Bastille can only be described as excellent. On arrival we were warmly greeted by staff who were extremely helpful in providing us with information regarding the surrounding area and transport links. We found our room relatively spacious, and well equipped. Décor was modern and only a little jaded in places. The bathroom facilities were...

3 friends sharing a room we were delighted to be upgraded to a Junior suite. Everything was perfect. Reception staff extremely pleasant, room very comfortable, 2 bathrooms and everything spotlessly clean. Super breakfast set us up for the day. We could not have wished for anything better. Excellent situation with plenty of eating places nearby. Will definately be back

Stayed here with the family for 2 night city break in a perfectly adequately sized room for the 4 of us. Hotel appears to be well run - friendly staff - most spoke good English. Breakfast was ok, plenty available even towards the end of service. Easy to locate and not too far from central city area (10 minutes on...

After a trawl through various hotels in Paris and looking at endless reviews, we settled on the Hotel Paris Bastille, which ticked most of the boxes (quiet area, clean, good reputation, reasonable price, etc). I was initially going to book this city break with Thomas Cook (TC) so I found out their prices then went away and did a bit...

Good service at reception and friendly staff. The breakfast was a bit hit and miss, only 1 member of staff servicing the breakfast room. We got a good deal with breakfast included but i would have been a little disappointed to pay full price as it was not restocked quick enough but in fairness the member of staff couldn't have...

It's a 3-star hotel which in practice in Paris means ordinary. The beds and pillows (I used two rooms during my stay) are very basic and uncomfortable. Ventilation and heating are also problematic: the room was too warm and the only solution was to open a window. For the room on the first floor that was not a great solution...

I hated my stay in room #001. This room, hidden behind a light closet door, is located on the ground floor, right next to the lobby and the hotel reception. Therefore, in the evening, you can hear people coming in the hotel, the phone ringing loudly at 1am for 15 minutes with no one answering this and all that from...

My husband and I spent three nights at this hotel. It was a very quiet location which was great to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre. While it is a little out from the centre there is a metro station about 300 metres from the hotel. Lovely restaurants nearby in the Marais district and Bastille...

Really disappointed... Wanted to impress my girlfreind but felt like i'd let her down with the hotel. Paris was beautiful but the hotel was pretty average. For the money i was expecting more, especially in terms of service.
