Hotel Atmospheres is a well situated, because it within walking distance of multiple Metro stations, Notre Dame, Le Sorbonne, the Pantheon, the Seine etc. The hotel staff are absolutely wonderful and more than willing to assist guests at any time of the day or night. The rooms are cozy and virtually soundproof. We heard no street noises when we slept....

Suite de luxe is excellent when traveling with children. Enough privacy for all. Comfortable beds. Great location, relatively calm street but in the middle the good part of quartier latin. Staff is dedicated to satisfied guests. The bowl nearby the reception with shining green apples to pick illustrates that.

So, to preface, my husband and I are probably a bit spoiled with American hotels. We've been to cheaper to mid-range hotels in Japan, too, and Hotel Atmospheres was about a step ahead of those. The lobby is quite nice, and the room is adequate, though small (the cheapest rooms you could get at this place, anyway - I can't...

My wife and I were staying in an apartment in the Latin Quarter, but my wife had an asthma attack on the first morning. I used TripAdvisor to locate a near by hotel, Hotel Atmospheres was a half a block away and had fairly good reviews on TripAdvisor. It was 8AM but the hotel staff allowed us to check out...

Stayed here for only 1 night but would loved to have stayed longer. Great Value with brilliant helpful staff in a perfect location (Metro 3 min walk) Rooms are small as you would expect but very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious with all bases covered and excellent coffee. Will most definitely return in the future but for a longer stay.

We stayed here for 3 nights and had a pleasant stay. They upgraded us to a suite which was unexpected. Our room overlooked the courtyard, no balcony of course. Breakfast was included but we didn't eat due to oversleeping and our schedule. The staff gave great recommendations on restaurants and were extremely helpful in showing us how to navigate the...

We stayed here for 3 nights. The public area is very modern and pretty. The employees were very friendly and helpful. They were able to understand our English and answer any of our questions or requests. The bathroom was unique, since the toilet was in a separate "closet" from the tub and sink. The only inconvenience was the need to...

Staying in Quartier Latin

Neighbourhood Profile
Quartier Latin
The Latin Quarter bursts with intellectual life, architectural splendour and ongoing merriment. The small streets are filled with classical buildings, student bars and lively eateries while the squares are dominated by historic monuments. The area is defined by the 800-year-old Sorbonne University, where Latin once prevailed, and is famous for the Pantheon which celebrates the great men and women of France. During the day students rush from classes to the library and intellectuals people watch from the terraced cafés. As night time falls the surrounding establishments fill up and the merriment really begins. The liveliest parts are around Rue Mouffetard, lined with crêperies and international street food eateries, and Place de la Contrescarpe characterised by terraced brasseries, this neighbourhood provides real nourishment for the mind, belly, and soul.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
THE FIRST ART-GALLERY HOTEL IN PARIS We invited photographer Thierry des Ouches to decorate the hotel with his breathtaking photography. Based on 112 original prints that are displayed throughout the hotel, in the lobby and rooms and his film "Paris" which is screened in the reception. We've created this hotel with extreme attention to detail and a focus on guest experience. With it's ideal location in Saint Germain, not only is the hotel's decoration unique, it's location in Paris' most exciting neighborhood, makes it the best of both worlds (great decoration and great location). We're looking forward to make your stay in Paris the best you've ever had. ... more   less
