The most positive point about this hotel is the great location. This hotel is within walking distance of Place D'Italie metro station and is very convenient to travel all over. Otherwise I will call it a average to the best . It is situated in a lane, and there is no service to talk about. There are no elevators and...

I travelled for business and had to stay somewhere along metro line 6, so the location was perfect for me, just 5 min. walk from Place d'Italie metro station. The area is nice and seems to be safe, there is a big mall, many shops and restaurants. Metro line 6 goes directly to Arc de Triomph and Gare de l'Est....

Great area (that some people even ask if Place DÍtaly is central or safe says more about them- don't go to Paris if you doný understand that more areas than a few are considered central) with tons of bistros and also Chinese places and markets. Lovely little hotel and above average for the price. Quite good. Clean, quiet, romantic, on...

Stay at this hotel during the euros . Clean and tidy hotel and value for money being pretty central in Paris . Metro a couple of mins walk away . If your there to see the sights on a low budget it perfect as you won't be in your rooms much . Would go there again if I was doing...

Affordable accommodation in a quiet street just 2-3 minutes walk from Place d'Italie. At Place d'italie you have metro line 5, 7 and 6 which corresponds to everything you need as a tourist in Paris. There are many places to eat in the area, both bakeries, french bistros, asian, italian, mexican and more. The staff was very friendly and helpful....

Location was great! Three minute walk to closest Metro, near restaurants, and shopping mall. It was beneficial to have a Metro station so close with all the walking one will do in Paris. I traveled with my mom to Paris and she had a difficult time within the Metro carrying her luggage, but there was some gentlemen along the way...

I travelled with my sister and her husband and stayed at Hotel du Roussillon for five days. I had a simple and cheap room on the courtyard. It was comfortable enough, had a small private bathroom. There was a kettle in the room for coffee and tea. The room was quiet and I slept well every night. For the other...

The Pros: Clean, the staff were friendly, it's close to public transport, hair dryer and kettle in room, location means no noise from main streets. Cons: Winding stairs and no elevator (difficult to navigate with suitcases), very small room and bathroom, no safe in room. Definitely not the place to stay with your family for a holiday, but nice enough...

I would like to tell people how bad this hotel was in order to keep it for myself. I can't. It is a very pleasant hotel in a quiet street just off Place D'Italie. very convenient for the Metro with lots of good cafes & restaurants around. It is basic - if you want 5* go pay the prices. Possible...

Staying in Place d'Italie / Quartier Asiatique

Neighbourhood Profile
Place d'Italie / Quartier Asiatique
Far off the beaten path, this part of Paris is a forgotten gem worth exploring. Avenue d’Ivry houses Europe's largest Chinatown with great Asian supermarkets and shops, and a thrilling atmosphere around Chinese New Year. Place d’Italie impresses onlookers as soon as they set their eyes on it. Not far, around La Butte aux Cailles, the streets suddenly imitate provincial France and you’ll feel like you’ve been transported. The beauty of these streets lies in their surprises around every twist and turn.
