Good hotel at a good location. Near to Sacre Coeur. Rooms are the old Parisian style which gives it an excellent feel. Well maintained. The lift to goto the upper floors is small but has a good old novelty factor to it. Well stocked mini bar. 24-hr reception is an added advantage.

Booked in for a four night family break. Tucked away down a side road this typified Paris charm and chic. The décor of the hotel was dark and very arty with walls donned with 80’s fashion photos. The room had all the amenities you’d want for a place to stay, comfortable double bed and a double sofa for a couple...

I must admit that I was surprised when I first entered the hotel. Why? Let's say that red light at the entrance is slightly misleading... Anyway, here you have my thoughts about Alba Opera: Advantages: + incredibly helpful stuff (they agreed to serve breakfast to my room at 6AM, even though it starts at 7:30AM) +comfortable bed +interesting design +modern...

Newcomers to Paris, we didn't know where to go or what to do. Alba Opera Hotel proved to be a great home base for our sightseeing. It is close to a couple of metro stations and bakeries. Dining in the area was good and we felt safe walking around even late in the evenings and in the early mornings. We...

Location was good, 20 min train ride to Eiffel Tower and there are cute stores and restaurants within walking distance. There was no refrigerator or coffee in the room which we could have used since it was soooo cold!

My boyfriend and I stayed here for three nights only a few weeks ago and we had a lovely stay. I always find it a bit daunting booking a hotel, what if the room is horrible? What if it's dirty? But the Alba Opera Hotel was none of these things. We were greeted by a nice young lady (who was...

This hotel was a 10 min walk away from Gare Du Nord Train Station. Hidden away from the rush of Paris, this hotel had friendly staff who catered to our individual needs. The rooms were spacious for Paris and facilities were excellent. We would recommend this hotel to any couple looking for a getaway.

Big room and very spacious bathroom, fridge, hair dryer and kettle. Comfortable beds, clean and chic space. Interesting boxes available at reception! Location good for shopping and the sights. Reasonably quiet cul de sac location, balcony.

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
