The moment you walk into the boutique Hotel des Arts you are greeted with a cheery "bonjour" and a welcoming smile. All of the staff are attentive and intent on making your stay in Paris a charming one. The furniture and design are done smartly and help you to navigate the public spaces. Various amenities are available: a small gym, steam room (requires 24 hours notice and a nominal fee to use), and an evening "honor system" bar where you can enjoy a glass of wine or champagne when you return from sightseeing.

If you are new to the village do not worry. You are provided a whimsy map of the staff's favorite places in the area if you are up for an adventure. Choose to go off the beaten path? Stop by the front desk to receive additional recommendations before you head out.

The bathroom soaps and cleansers are L'Occitane and each room is equipped with warming racks to keep your towels toasty.

There are 6 floors of rooms but the elevator only goes up to the 5th level. A winding staircase spans the length of the boutique tower. Plan for a bit of manual lifting if you have many bags (or travel friends) since the elevator is extremely small and can only hold two people (and possibly one suitcase) comfortably.

If you are looking for a comfortable and friendly stay in a walkable area with inviting shops and cafes, give the Hotel des Arts - Montmartre a try!

Amazing location and charming “boutique” hotel style. Staff are very welcoming. The room was very clean and comfortable. I’d stay there again without hesitation. I lived in Paris for many years and absolutely fell in love with the area thanks to this recent trip and hotel choice. There’s such a great variety of shops and restaurants in the neighborhood and the street itself offers an amazing view of one of the last surviving old mills. They have a small area for breakfast (which had plenty of local pastries/breads and other breakfast staples) or afternoon drinks/snacks which made it nice option for a morning meal for us for a couple of the days we were there. There are an abundance of cafes within 3 minute walk for other days that you wish to try the other local options . We warmly recommend this hotel!!

The friendliest team I've ever had in a hotel!! Always courteous and helpful without being pushy. Always good tips, guests receive pre-made maps on request, showing how best to get to the sights by metro and bus, help of all kinds (illness, rain showers, ordering a taxi, restaurant tips, ...).
Good beds, nicely furnished rooms, quiet even when facing the side street, everything you need in the bathroom, WiFi worked perfectly.
Breakfast was very varied for France, free soft drinks, coffee variations, tea from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.!
Three minutes walk to the metro and bus, rental bikes everywhere, there are various street cafes around the hotel that are nice to sit in.
If I go back to Paris, I'll definitely stay here again!

We have travelled a lot and been to Paris a number of times over the years. This wonderful boutique Hotel is everything we love about a place to stay in a City. Small and Bijoux in a quiet Street in Monte Marte it’s perfect. Just a small stroll from great places to eat, the best 2 ice cream shops in Paris (I think so anyway) and surprisingly enough some wonderful opticians selling trendy and colourful frames!
But back to the Hotel. The staff are wonderful and friendly. The decor stylish and trendy. The honesty bar/breakfast room is a great place to meet and although there were 8 of us visiting we met some lovely people from around the world.
The rooms are tastefully decorated with L’occitaine toiletries in the bathroom. Free water and tea and coffee. Loved the macaroons too.
Ticked every box for a City break on this beautiful City.
We all loved it and I will be telling all of my artist friends to visit.

My friend and I stayed here for 4 nights and were thrilled with our choice!
The location is fabulous with cafes and restaurants just around the corner. You can walk to Sacre Coeur in about 10 minutes and it's a beautiful walk.
Our room was small , like many Parisian Hotels but we had a great view on the 6th floor of the top of Sacre Coeur. The window opens up which was nice to get some fresh air. The bathroom is on the smaller side but had a bathtub with shower and the hot water was hot in 10 seconds. And it was very hot , which was wonderful.
They also offer a water cooker in the room for tea and coffee which was very much appreciated. Also had water available in the room and some delicious macarons as a little welcome gift.
The breakfast was perfect for us. The best croissants and bread, great jams, cheeses, juices , and eggs and bacon. I loved the little timer for the soft boiled eggs.
They also offer free soft drinks, tea, coffee and snacks in that area from 3pm -10pm which was really nice when we just took a little break from our outings.
The staff is wonderful, very friendly not matter who we were in contact with. They all spoke english and there were a lot of english speaking guests.
We got great dinner recommendations. Please try out this fantastic Mediterranean restaurant around the corner " Adraba" . That was the best meal we had on our entire trip!
I work in the travel industry and already informed my team about this little gem! I don't think you can go wrong.

Great hotel. The staff were super helpful provided me with a travel adapter and a toothbrush when I forgot mine. The rooms were small (but certainly enough room) but great for someone who doesn’t want to spend too much time in their room. The bed very comfortable and the room quiet (I wasn’t disturbed at night). Bathroom again small but had enough space from a bath/shower. Breakfast was nice - the only thing that might be considered is the ability to cook fresh scrambled eggs and bacon (rather than being pre-made) but the variety was good. Will definitely come back if you have space. Thank you!

We do not usually stay at the same hotel twice, as we like to try out new places but when we decided to have our first trip to Paris in 10 years we also decided to return to this hotel, as it was so good the first time. The excellent reviews gave us confidence that it would still be good and we were not disappointed. The hotel is ideally located in Montmatre and the rooms, although typically small, are comfortable, clean and have everything you might need. Our room (6) in the little courtyard at the rear was lovely and quiet, making for an undisturbed sleep. As others have mentioned all members of staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We did not have breakfast in the hotel preferring to frequent some of the places close by - La Bossue being our favourite. The Place du Tertre is great for sitting with a drink and watching the artists but be prepared for the exorbitant prices - when we flinched at the bill of 14 euros for two coffees the waiter explained with quite some understatement that 'prices are high in Montmatre'. All in all a great trip and a highly recommended hotel.

Charming boutique hotel in Montmartre, with friendly and helpful staff. The main room and bathroom were spotless and kept clean. Bacuase the hotel is small, one gets to know the staff well. Breakfast, which is an additional charge daily, is delicious with many options. The only thing to point out is that the main room and bathroom are on the small side, which might be a challenging issue for some guests. Location of the hotel is also great, as you are walking distance to many of Montmartre's attractions, like Moulin Rouge, Sacre Coeur, etc. The hotel also offers a wine and cheese pairing event (extra charge) which was very enjoyable and lots of fun. I wold definitely recommend this hotel for anyone wanting a nice, intimate and friendly boutique hotel in Montmartre.

This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at in a major city and it lives up to everything it promises.
From check in to check out the whole experience was fantastic.

Location - This is small boutique style hotel in the heart of Montmartre Paris. Dozens of cafes, restaurant's, & bars right on the doorstep.

Rooms - were small ( as you would expect in Paris) but completely adequate for a stay. They were immaculately clean. In the room was a safe which was free of charge to use, a coffee machine and water. The bathroom was nice with complimentary good toiletries. Beds were comfortable and the linen and bedding is good quality.

Food - Breakfast was available at the hotel however we didn't eat due to the vast choices in the area. The hotel offers free of charge soft drinks, coffee etc at certain times of the day and also alcoholic drinks ( chargeable)

Staff and Service - Absolutely fantastic. On arrival we were offered help for throughout the trip, offered a drink straight away and given all instructions needed for our stay. Nothing was too much to ask. On the morning we departed we were offered a free coffee while we waited for our taxi. The staff seemed genuinely interested in making every part of your staff as best they could.

Overall an absolutely excellent stay and we would 100% recommend to anyone looking to go to Paris. We loved every minute and will definitely return without a doubt.

No mini bar, but downstairs are complementary beverages, the room has coffee, tea and kettle to warm water, fresh sparkling or still is available in the room. Which can be filled at any time!

I believe the check in time is 3:00 p.m. However, if you arrive earlier than that like we did, they will store your luggage and you can explore the area until check in time. There are many cafes close by if you wanted to get something to eat and/or drink.
