This was a good location and reasonable cost for our 4 day stay in Paris. It was close to underground station and Train station. The room was adequate, the bed was comfortable and the staff was very friendly and helpful. There were no amenities in the bathroom.

Everything is narrow (room, bathroom) and looks old, I had a window facing mine (2 meters away), no plug close to the bed, and only one still available, very small tv, malfunctioning, terrible bread for breakfast, price similar to better hotels in the area. Nice area, very kind staff.

Single room is average in size ( for Paris) but it's very clean. Bed is comfortable and the curtains blocks all the light. Close from train station and some restaurants. Breakfeast is average but it's fresh.

I recommand this hotel to people who want to spend some days in Paris. All kind of transports are available near the hotel (Gare Montparnasse, Métro Gaité and bus). I also add the different shop proximity.

Staying in Montparnasse

Neighbourhood Profile
Montparnasse
The namesake tower of Montparnasse dominates over the landscape but the fun part is the throbbing life that goes on below it. Bright lights, busy cinemas, brasseries and diners encompass hidden museums and parks to entertain the masses. Long avenues lead away from the tower to take you to unsuspecting places and historical monuments and treasures. In between lie adorable ivy-covered houses with beams and small gardens to match. Just a short metro ride away from the centre of Paris this neighbourhood has something for every hour of the day.
