I really enjoyed my stay. Friendly stuff allover. There is only one thing I would "complain" (I wouldn't even call it a copmlain) about and that would be the everyday change of the handsoap. This wouldn't actually be necassary in my opinion. The hotel is easily reached by RER B from both major airports. Perfect location for exploring the city....

Good value, well-located, clean and comfortable. Situated between the Musee de Cluny and the main building of the Sorbonne. Easy walk to many left bank sights. Friendly welcome, small but modern bedrooms with good quality bedding and quite stylish bathrooms. Pleasant ample French style breakfast. Near to several good local restaurants. We would happily stay there again. Direct bus route...

I stayed here with my 11 year old daughter. The hotel is in an amazing location. A few minutes walk from the RER so couldn't have been easier to get to from CDG airport. 5 mins walk to St Germain restaurant area, 5 mins walk to Luxembourg Gardens, 5 mins walk to Notre Dame. And many metro stations very close...

We absolutely loved our stay here. Really comfy room with everything we needed. Friendly and helpful staff. Great location so close to the metro and all those fabulous restaurants in the Latin quarter.

A brilliant little hotel, fabulously located in the Latin Quarter, close to Notre Dame. Family run, this hotel has recently updated rooms, is spotlessly clean and all who work there go out of their way to make it a special stay. 5 fabulous nights and recommendations to all our friends. Thank you Hotel Diana. Restaurant next door does fabulous duck...

I love staying in the 5th and this is my favorite of the hotels I've stayed at, this is the 2nd time I've stayed at the Hotel Diana. The 1st time was in a twin room, this time I booked a single. I was on the 2nd floor, there is a lift at the hotel. It's convenient to the RER...

As compensation for volunteering to change a flight, I got more than enough credits with an airline to visit Paris for the first time. The Hotel Diana was recommended, strongly, in a TripAdvisor discussion. I was not disappointed. The office-lobby-breakfast area is compact but attractive (and breakfast good), staff efficient, very helpful, and all spoke excellent English. My first floor...

I usually rent an apartment during my Paris visits but chose a hotel for a recent 7-night stay because of the short lead time before my arrival. The 2-star Hotel Diana, which is family operated, more than met my needs and provided clean and well-maintained lodging. Its superb location within the 5th Arrondissement includes being just a 6-minute walk from...

There were 3 of us sharing the triple room, and it was fab. Big enough room for us all, clean and tidy decor, comfortable beds, and a decent bathroom. For the price we paid, I can really recommend this triple room. The lady who booked us in was so helpful and friendly. Location wise, it is a 5 minute walk...

I stayed here with 2 travel companions for 2 nights. We were able to have the triple room and for 3 adults provided plenty of room. The bathroom is large and modern and always spotlessly clean. Lovely towels and toiletries. The lift is old and small so I would avoid if you don't like lifts. The staff are very friendly...

Staying in Quartier Latin

Neighbourhood Profile
Quartier Latin
The Latin Quarter bursts with intellectual life, architectural splendour and ongoing merriment. The small streets are filled with classical buildings, student bars and lively eateries while the squares are dominated by historic monuments. The area is defined by the 800-year-old Sorbonne University, where Latin once prevailed, and is famous for the Pantheon which celebrates the great men and women of France. During the day students rush from classes to the library and intellectuals people watch from the terraced cafés. As night time falls the surrounding establishments fill up and the merriment really begins. The liveliest parts are around Rue Mouffetard, lined with crêperies and international street food eateries, and Place de la Contrescarpe characterised by terraced brasseries, this neighbourhood provides real nourishment for the mind, belly, and soul.
