We stayed at the Hotel Antin Saint Georges for five nights in June. On the first night, I stayed there alone in a tiny room over the street and didn't sleep a wink. The pubs were alive with noisy Irish and Swedish football fans until closing time. Then a barrage of early morning traffic made sleep impossible. In the morning...

I didn't book the hotel myself, and I guess I should've. The hotel is not a disaster, but with the same prize you get so much better hotels in Paris. The rooms are so badly equipped. I had one, very frail plastic cup in my room and didn't get any more from the maintenance . The staff however is friendly...

We visited this hotel last week and slept there for 4 days. For a 2* hotel it was very nice. The rooms where very small so when the tempereture is above 20 degrees it's very stuffy/hot in the room. The room and bathroom looks olddated. What I really was missing was to hung up the showerhead, it was not comfortable...

Located a short stroll from the Moulin Rouge, Galleries Lafayette, and Montmarte, the hotel is satisfactory. The staff on the front desk are friendly and helpful. There is a lovely cafe just up the street which has delicious, crunchy baguettes and crepes. There is also supermarket quite close to the hotel, and some wonderful shops nearby that were quite delightful...

This hotel is the worst we've stayed in, in terms of room and building. It's shame as the staff are very friendly and helpful. So lets start with the positive. The lady who attended to our early morning breakfasts (who we then one day saw on our landing with the cleaning trolley) was very friendly, attentive and always smiling. The...

The hotel is well located near the underground station in a nice neighbourhood. The room was extremely small, but clean. The paid breakfast is simple but it contains the essential. Staff helpful. Paid Wi-fi (expensive).

I forget how many times I've stayed here! It's clean, the staff, bilingual in French and English, is efficient and friendly and it's well situated for many of Paris' landmarks. Breakfast as a supplement is an affordable €9/day.

The staff was incredibly friendly, and always warm and welcoming. A few notes: You leave your room key at the front desk when you leave for the day (not when you check out, when you're not in your room). They use this as the flag for housekeeping that they can clean your room, and this guarantees you won't loose your...

We booked this hotel as part of a 3 day trip to Paris to take in the sights and culture of Paris… this hotel is exactly what we wanted. Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
