Lovely quirky hotel in a great location about 10 minutes walk from Gare de Nord and literally two minutes from Cadet Metro so easy to get anywhere in Central Paris. Room was compact but well appointed - this is the centre of Paris after all! Great shower that stepped the fine line between washing and being caught out in the...

I left my phone in the UK but no worries each room is provided with a smart phone. You can take this outside with you during your stay, make calls and use 4G data. The staff are polite, the rooms are clean but pretty small. I liked the decor in the lobby/breakfast bar area. The breakfast looked very basic though...

Hotel is well located and with close distance to the Paris Metro station Cadet. The rooms are well furnished and newly renovated, clean and full equipped. As always in Paris you should not expect too spacious rooms, however you get real value for money here. Only problem was that the AC was not working and with our room facing south...

Great hotel, just 15 minutes walking from Gare du Nord en 20 minutes from Montmartre. Metrostation Cadet just around the corner. Clean and nicely decorated. Compared to others in the same area/standard the rooms are reasonably priced. What would make this place qualify as "Excellent" is a proper WiFi. At check-in you're provided a UserId and Password but they don't...

Everything about this great hotel was so different to the bland offerings you get in other similar priced (and particularly chain) hotels. The rooms had a real individual feel, and the staff were so attentive and friendly. Within a short walk are plenty of bars and restaurants offering a variety of choices to eat and drink.

The service here is remarkable: extremly nice staff, very attentive and helpful - even better than in some five star hotels. From reception to cleaning service: Perfect! Rooms are comfy, decor is very french aka many little details, charming but not minimal. I was missing a coffee maker / hot water, but that's ok. Location is good: Walking distance to...

The hotel's decor is cute and quirky as shown in the pictures and everything looked in good condition. We didn't get breakfast included and opted not to pay 15 Euros per person for it, as it wasn't a full buffet and there are plenty of places nearby to eat. The service is a bit patchy - the first night we...

The location is good, just minutes from Cadet Metro and less than 15 minutes walk from Galerie Lafayette (if you like that sort of thing). The hotel is small but beautifully decorated. The bed was excellent as was the bathroom. The real negative is the room size and they are all the same. We had three cases as we had...

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.

“We stayed on the 4th floor looking over the main entrance. Hotel sits on a side street with a regular flow of traffic but with the windows closed it was not a problem. We were able to keep the windows open most of the night and only close them when the traffic got a bit busier in the morning. ”
