Just returned from a business trip to Paris. Chose Hotel Este because of it's location... across the street from Gare De L'Est and about a 9min walk to Gare De Nord. Was incredibly easy to get around. The hotel seems newly renovated, well decorated and very clean. Complimentary umbrella's to use right at the door came in handy. To enter the hotel you need to use your key. For the most part the area is safe but rowdy due to it's proximity to the train and subway stations. The staff was very helpful, bilingual and accommodating. Rooms are decently sized and there is storage space however if you just want to lay your luggage out it is almost impossible. Rooms have a safe. One thing I did not understand is why there are stairs between rooms on the floors? Would love someone to explain this to me lol. Not entirely sound proof but not bothersome either. One of the amenities I used was the spa (30 Euros for 45 Mins). Absolutely perfect... and I was fortunate to have it all to myself. The pool was great, spa and steam room perfect temperature and center room shower a nice touch. I would without a doubt stay here again.

Which is why, the architect opted for stairs for confort reasons. Location is very good, 8 minute walk from Gare du Nord and basically next door to Gare de L’Est - entrance to the Metro is outside the hotel’s front door. Having said that, we heard very little noise throughout the night. Maybe a top floor room (with views of the Eiffel Tower and Sacre Coeur) helped a little. Breakfast was adequate, with a good selection, although somethings were present on some days, and not on others. Very clean and modern room, and no issues with the facilities. Welcoming and helpful staff. Would definitely recommend staying here.

A perfect stay. The hotel is within 10 minute walking distance from Gare Du Nord (ideal for those travelling by Eurostar from London). Our room felt slightly smaller than other hotels but it had everything we needed. Modern decoration, totally clean. Also, the rooms face a busy street outside of Gare De L’Est yet the windows are so good you will sleep in perfect silence! Great bedding too. Amazing. Right by the metro, very convenient. Short walk to some incredible restaurants on the Canal St Martin. We will stay here again if we visit Paris.

The property was very clean, facilities and amenities were exceptional. The mattress and pillow were like sleeping on a cloud. The quality of the decor, service and kitchen food and drinks were a cut above any other hotels in the area. Very good location to commute to numerous places in the city. Very safe, as doors were always locked to anyone not a part of the hotel, which helped considering the very busy neighbourhood. Spa was exceptional.

This was a very welcoming hotel due to the warm staff. Special thanks to Virgil, Axel, the young lady at the front desk (from Mozambique) I can't recall her name, the cleaning staff, and the ladies servicing the restaurants. All around great service.
Room: The rooms are small, but very very clean and comfortable.
Location: Although situated in a busy area, there were no issues with noise and easy access to everywhere in Paris. for example, the hotel is in the Gare de L'Est area which is about 15 minutes from main attractions. Also the food options in this area are excellent!

My son is studying in Metz for the summer and he wanted to visit Paris. He was getting in late so I booked this hotel right by the gate du l'est. it is brand new (it was only open 3 days). He was so excited about how nice, new and modern it was that he FaceTimed me to show me the room. It was air conditioned (some places in Paris aren't). It was also right by the metro. They stored his bag after check out so he could grab it before getting his train. He wants to go back next weekend!

Entered the hotel with my keycard at 9pm and while waiting for the elevator, a man behind the front desk with curly hair and glasses rudely interrogated me about what I was doing and where I was staying. Among other guests in the lobby, he called me out specifically, demanding my name, room number, etc...I know this is a common practice for guest safety, and I wouldn't mind if it wasn't done with such a holier than thou attitude, he was very cold and seemed very skeptical of me. This entire scenario was unwelcoming and I can't believe you would treat your guests this way.

A quiet and luxurious boutique hotel! This is very well connected by public transport: multiple buses stop on the road outside, the Metro station is just round the corner, and both Gare de l'Est and Gare du Nord are essentially right beside it. We had a wonderful experience both with their Spa (our non-private booking just happened to be private, and they had robes and slippers delivered to our rooms and water waiting out for us) and speedy Room Service. The rooms are compact but very comfortable and classy. The arrondissement that the hotel is in seemed quite residential but there is a large road, easily walkable, directly to the more touristic/busy areas. This may also be a misrepresentation of the area because we went in August - the month that Parisians famously clear out of the city! overall, I'd highly recommend a stay here.

Hôtel Esté is a lovely, clean hotel in a very accessible location - not the most central but only seconds walk from the Gare de l’Est metro station and served usefully by buses very close as well. I have read concerns about the area but arriving back at the hotel 10/11pm at night was easy and safe due to the ease of access from the metro.
Rooms are functional and clean, good water pressure.
Spa area is very nice, well kept. Steam room is very steamy and nice to use. Staff are extremely friendly and a credit to the hotel.

This was a real treat. The hotel is very well located, with a metro stop at the entrance. The room was amazing and the bathroom extraordinary. The bed was very good but a bit small, both in length and width. I took a superior queen room so I expected a bigger bed. Breakfast was good with lots of choices, just a bit crowded, I had to wait sometime before a table became available. The guy at the reception provided me with a list of places to go out and helped me a lot. I will definitely come back. Thank you!
