We had a great experience from the staff at Libertel Canal St Martin. Particularly Susana, at the reception provided us with very useful reccomendations about the city. The room was a bit small, but was great for us. Breakfast was very good and was already considered in our room fare. Location is easy to get to by métro, and with...

This small hotel is a really good value for the price. Our room was nice and clean. There are some TV channels in English. Also, there are plenty of restaurants around the area. The hotel conveniently located within 100 metres from a Metro station (line 5).

The room was small, but clean, plus it had a tea kettle and they offered a bottle of water as well. The bathroom was quite small as well, but clean. I asked for a calm room and received one which faced the inner garden, so I could not hear the busy street. The only noise came from the elevator, which...

Good location - close to several metro lines. Excellent value for money. Modern equipment. Clean room and rest of the hotel. Helpful service. I would recommend for a week-long tour of Paris. Near many food options (local restaurants, kebabs, McDonalds, Subway) and shops (Carrefour, Monoprix, others).

The big let-down for me was the way the shower flooded the bathroom; the breakfast was pretty basic, only boiled eggs or crepes if you wanted something hot, not worth the 10euros. Quite a noisy area, with the Metro rattling above the roadways.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Hotel's 69 rooms, entirely renovated and air-conditioned, are contained in 3 small typical Parisian buildings joined by a courtyard and a garden. The largest building has 38 rooms overlooking the main street. Some, named "Paris Comfort" offers a balcony with stunning views of the Butte Montmartre and the Sacre-Coeur. The 25 rooms of the second building, called "Privilege" as is peacefully located in the yard and garden. Warm tones married to white duvets give their charm and intimacy. The 6 remaining rooms, named "Villa Cosi", renovated in warm colors are located in a charming town house, surprisingly quiet for the middle of Paris. The approach of our architects was to rethink the rooms as comfortable cocoons using a rational and highly practical layout to make all the services immediately accessible along the walls. The choice of materials and subtly contemporary colours give a chic touch of elegance and design to the decor. The comfort and modernity are enhanced by the presence of large flat screen television with TNT and satellite, new bedding with quilt instead of the traditional bedspreads. ... more   less
