I have stayed at this hotel twice for business. The area is not bad (close to the Bastille) with quite some restaurants to choose from. The rooms are comfortable enough (duvets, good choice of pillows) although a bit on the small side. The reception is ok, not overly friendly, but not less than in other Paris hotels. The decoration is...

We stayed there one night and because we booked it in advance we got great room and fantastic breakfast for less then 130 pounds, so for us it was value for money. Staff were speaking English and were very friendly. There were no troubles with leaving our luggage for several hours after check out. It was perfect Valentines Day!

I stayed at the Le Marceau Bastille overnight on 9th January, while on a business trip. I was given a room street side on the 4th floor, which was well furnished/equipped and quiet. The bed was very comfortable and I got a good night's sleep in preparation for my working day ahead. At an internet price of €160 including breakfast...

I stayed here in mid-January 2012 and was given one of the rooms on the street side, on the sixth floor. I found it quiet and very light, with large windows in the bathroom as well as the bedroom. The room is a reasonable size by Paris standards, with a very comfortable bed, and very well-appointed and clean. I found...

We received a warm welcome by attentive staff, were shown to our room, our ipod dock didnt work, this was sorted immediately, nothing was a problem for them. The reception area on the ground floor with seductive lighting and a trickling water feature looked very inviting. I would go there again.

The Le Marceau (MB affectionately) has been my second home for almost a year (on a Monday - Thursday / Friday basis). Staying there so often and for so long allowed me to experience almost every room and to meet everyone from the staff. STAFF The staff is absolutely friendly and speaks excellent English (except for an older lady, Chantelle...

As a global traveler, this is one of the very worst hotels that I have ever stayed in. Floors are dirty with cigarette burns on the carpet, beds are uncomfortable, no service to speak off, and the fitness center is a complete mis-representation of what the hotel is advertising as a "fitness" center. The fitness center consists of 3 old...

Lovely hotel. Exceptionally clean, very quiet and the staff are friendly. Feels a bit out of the way but it is just a five minute walk from the bastille metro and some great bars. I would definitely stay here again.

Marceu Bastille is a trendy boutique hotel recently renowed. All the areas are very well decorated in modern style (the big tap in the lobby with current water is relaxing!). The room was spacious with a big bed (not king size but almost), good facilities and well equiped. Breakfast is served near by the reception with good quality food. Certainly...

We chose this hotel for a 2-day stopover en route to Florence. Staff were very welcoming. Room (standard double) was immaculate although wardrobe might be found a bit small for a protracted stay. Bed was a large double and extremely comfortable, air-con was quiet & effective. Breakfast buffet was plentiful and tasty. Before leaving home, we had emailed the hotel...
