It is a poor hotel, very narrow and noisy. I only stayed one night. The receptionist doesn't speak English too good, it is not a sociable person, nor the night receptionist. When i checked in, and entered the room, the noise was horrible. In one of the rooms there were workers, renovating, i think, so you can imagine the noise....

We checked into this hotel as a first stop in our honeymoon. The photos all looked good as we were only staying 2 nights. We had to pay the full amount on arrival so we just thought this was the normal. When she gave us our keys she told us to take the lift to the 5th floor then take...

This small hotel is situated in one of the most lively neighborhoods of Paris. Lots of restaurants and bars around, almost all of them tourist traps not offering genuine cuisines. Back to the hotel itself, it is close to Notre Dame, to Metro station (and RER), BATOBUS stops nearby. Rooms are tiny (characteristic of Paris), but nicely decorated . Elevator...

Rude unwelcoming offhanded male receptionist. Very noisy room at front. Make sure you insist on room away from very noisy street. Crowds and music until after 2 am. Lift OK but noisy during night. Location to sights is good but not worth the offsetting factors. Breakfast very ordinary.Insects in cheese cotainer.Wifi not reliable in room. Avoid.

Been Living in Paris for a long time And can put up with a lot of things but this was the worst. Poor service, rude receptionist, no wifi, dirty towels with stains And holes. Why even bother, location horrible due to noise And just tried it to see when my dad came over.

Perfect location near Notre Dame, a block from Seine, on a lively, bustling side street! Very basic room but clean, comfortable beds, AC and nice bathroom (sans amenities like shampoo, lotions, etc.) Great staff who were more than helpful when I needed assistance with a few things.

Visited May 18-21, 2016. Second stay with Hotel Mont Blanc. I found this the perfect location for all I wanted to see in Paris. From CDG it was an easy trip via public transport. The Latin Quarter is lively, friendly vendors, and offers restaurants, shops, even a market for snacks. The room are typical of European rooms, from my experience....

Great location near Notre Dame and Lourve. Room was small but clean, staff friendly and plenty of restaurants close by. Would be happy to return to this hotel if wanting to revisit Le Lourve and Notre Dame area.

As the saying goes, 'you get what you pay for'. Small lobby, and very small basic (single) room. Good quality towels and effective hairdryer, but only shower gel and soap provided (no shower cap). However, very clean, with comfortable bed. Was on top floor - no street noise with windows closed, but annoying noise from elevator mechanism, and banging doors....

Hotel was right near Notre dame and the hop on and off bus tours as well. Cheap food and drinks in area of hotel roughly 15 euro for a three course dinner. Area is lively and busy especially at night which is what we wanted! Hotel is nice clean and basic free wifi wasn't the best but was enough. But...

Staying in Odeon / Saint-Michel

Neighbourhood Profile
Odeon / Saint-Michel
As the bustling center of entertainment for the residents of the Rive Gauche, the activity at Odéon never stops. Boulevards are lined with traditional cafes, restaurants, and boutique cinemas. The streets surrounding the fountain at Saint-Michel provide eateries from around the world. Lively bars are just next door and the prototypical terraced French brasserie is on every corner. The setting for this area is second to none; the Haussmann-style boulevards are contrasted by monumental architecture and overshadowed by the iconic Notre Dame, all within a moment’s walk from the Seine. This neighbourhood's world-famous bookshops, cafés, and streets will not fail to impress you.
