If you are looking for a hotel right in the centre of Paris for a reasonable price, then this is the one. It is very close to Notre Dame. Staff was friendly, helpful. The hotel room was clean and very quiet.

This hotel has a great location. It's close to everything and there are heaps of inexpensive restaurants close by. It was fairly well priced given its location, however the room I had was very small. The toilet was so small that you couldn't close the door if you sat on the toilet seat. It was also a bit too noisy....

You're really paying for the location. Rooms are basic but clean, and staff are helpful. Walk out the front door and you're right next to loads of restaurants, and opposite a great bakery shop. The Metro and RER station (on the line from Charles de Gaulle airport) are 100 metres away

The location can't be beat. It is within walking distance to Notre Dame and many other attractions, plus the metro stop is less than a block away. There are many restaurants and shops just outside the lobby doors. The room itself was quite clean (and had air conditioning, which was nice in August!). Furnishings were basic. We had a triple...

Now.... you are in Paris, so don't expect a large plush room unless you expect to pay for it $$$. Positives: 2 mins walk to Notre Dame, just go downstars and out the doors for streets lined with bars and restaurants. Staff was helpful,(I said helpful, not friendly). Metro just round the corner. Breaky available downstairs for 10 Euros. Rooms clean...

I stayed in Hotel du Mont Blanc's single room just a few days ago when travelling to Paris. I regret to say it was a very unpleasant experience, one that I would not wish upon any traveller. I had booked based on the photos on the hotel website and some reviews I had read online. The actual room was much...

Just right for a short stay in paris. In the heart of the Latin quarter the hotel is close to the metro, shopping, restaurants and cafés the nature dame, louvre, and river seine! Basic no frills accommodation the hotel is clean and adequate for short stays. Wifi only available in the lobby though! Would recommend

We stayed in the Hotel with our teenage daughter, and found it was just about right for a city weekend. the location was perfect, right near the Metro, and about 200mtr from the Notre Dame. The rooms are pretty small, but you can expect that is a city hotel. Every thing was clean, The reception was friendly. Our room was...

Who said the French do not have a sense of humour? The hotel is in a great location and the room was clean. However, I was a bit surprised at the quality/size of the room given that we had booked a Superior room with dressing room. There was obviously no dressing room and little room to move. When I questioned...

The best way of describing this hotel is "economical" (apart from the large nightly fee that is roughly equivalent to Kiribati's GDP). Sparsely furnished, a sparse shower, a sparse Internet connection (no connecting to non-French IPs??) and management that shouted at some fellow breakfasters for going back for a second round of bread... And there's no eating in the rooms,...

Staying in Odeon / Saint-Michel

Neighbourhood Profile
Odeon / Saint-Michel
As the bustling center of entertainment for the residents of the Rive Gauche, the activity at Odéon never stops. Boulevards are lined with traditional cafes, restaurants, and boutique cinemas. The streets surrounding the fountain at Saint-Michel provide eateries from around the world. Lively bars are just next door and the prototypical terraced French brasserie is on every corner. The setting for this area is second to none; the Haussmann-style boulevards are contrasted by monumental architecture and overshadowed by the iconic Notre Dame, all within a moment’s walk from the Seine. This neighbourhood's world-famous bookshops, cafés, and streets will not fail to impress you.
