This hotel had all we needed for a long weekend break. Very comfortable bed, well appointed bathroom (so many hotels don't have enough space for toilet bags), friendly and very helpful staff. They found an Italian restaurant for us and lent us a hotel umbrella as it was pouring down. We'd not been in this area of Paris before but...

Small hotel with small rooms, but friendly staff. Conveniently located close to dining places. Did not have breakfast here, but they did not charge for the coffee. One issue was that they were not consistent in replacing the teabags/milk/sugar in the room, though if you go down to the reception, they will happily give it to you. They have free...

Dear, we thank you for your time and feedback. It is true that European standards are definitely smallers that American and Asian standards. We higly recommend our Superior rooms to have more space (compare to our Comfort rooms). We take care of all our guests and we already informed the housekeeper manager to resolve this issue of teabags/milk/sugar. All the...

The hotel is located in a small , calm street nearby the metrostation Gaite. The people, who work in the hotel, are very kind and eager to make stay very comfortable. Only five metrostations away you find the champs ellysee, the tulleries, the louvre..... The room was not so big, but all was very clean and very calm. The breakfast...

Rooms are very well designed and new. Service is prompt, very competent, and quite friendly. Hotel is situated close to a major train station, but not too close. Breakfast is legit and the lobby and courtyard charming and comfortable. I would love to stay here again.

Hotel Mistral is a lovely little hotel in the Montparnasse neighborhood. It is not in a "touristy" section of town, so if that's your jam, you might not be as happy as we were. We loved our stay. The front staff was very welcoming and helpful (Roman, Anna, and Nina--merci beaucoup!!). The breakfast was delicious-do yourself a favor and get...

Friendly, clean, charming. The staff gives you the feeling that you're welcome and try to do everything possible to make your stay comfortable. Late check-out was no problem. The bathroom is very spacious, at least the one we had in room no. 01

Dear Marco, all the Mistral team thank you for your feedback. When we can we arrange late check-out (for free or for some euros in case of a very late check-out). I loved the rooms, the service and the people were impeccable; so caring and kind. They made every effort to make our stay the most pleasant as possible. Dear Gilles, we thank you for your kind review. Make your stay as memorable as we can is the most important target for us. For breakfast, we use artisanal cheese (Fromagerie Vacroux), fresh bread (traditional bakery at the corner of the street), fresh fruits etc. We higly recommend our Superior rooms which are bigger with a large bed (160x200). We stayed at this hotel in March. Excellent location 2 minutes from the métro station, very convenient if you arrive or continue to travel from Montparnasse train station. Quiet street, close to restaurants and a small grocery store. Beautiful clean room, comfortable bed, top notch bathroom (think tiles with portraits of Jean-Paul Sartre and Simone de Beauvoir who had stayed...

Staying in Montparnasse

Neighbourhood Profile
Montparnasse
The namesake tower of Montparnasse dominates over the landscape but the fun part is the throbbing life that goes on below it. Bright lights, busy cinemas, brasseries and diners encompass hidden museums and parks to entertain the masses. Long avenues lead away from the tower to take you to unsuspecting places and historical monuments and treasures. In between lie adorable ivy-covered houses with beams and small gardens to match. Just a short metro ride away from the centre of Paris this neighbourhood has something for every hour of the day.
