I chose the George Sand hotel because of its location and a recommendation on Trip Advisor that it is business-friendly, and this was right. The internet was strong and 100% reliable, the staff were very helpful and the hotel is near several metro stations. The rooms are well laid out, with a mini bar, kettle and spacious bathroom. The bed...

Very nice hotel with a great location! Very clean and perfect wooden floors in the bedroom! The breakfastroom in the hotel was not really a nice place to start a day and around the hotel it was not easy to find an open place for breakfast on a sunday! On sundays more or less every bistro around the "opera" is...

I stayed at this hotel with my wife on a weeks holiday in Paris and will definitely recommend it! Such a friendly reception and we had a great room on the first floor. Yes there is some noise occasionally from the metro, but you are in Paris after all and not spending all day in the hotel. The Opera area...

Enjoyed my stay, the photos match the rooms. The bedroom is good sized, bigger than expected bathroom. Very clean, stylish. Breakfast is continental with choice of omelette. Very good location especially for Opera or shopping. Slight downsides (room 403): watch for some street noise and rumbling from metro. Perhaps ask for room at the back. Friendly staff speaking English. Would...

I stayed for 2 nights in this hotel for my 5th trip to Paris. It is strategically located in Opera area which is very close, walking distance to all the good theaters, shopping centers, boutiques in this area. Metro and RER stations are all very close and within walking distance. The Roissy bus from CDG airport to Opera and vice...

Our "triple" room was ideal for our group of three adults and gave us plenty of space. It was made up of a main room with queen bed, two work desks and walk-in closet plus a separate small room with a single bed, another desk, and a window. We were pleased to find that windows in both rooms opened onto...

Walking distance to the Opera Garnier, and the Roissy Bus for CDG airport. Quiet side street - and only a couple of hundred yards from Printemps / Galleries Lafeyette. Very small hotel. Clean and well-maintained. Room (502) clean and functional, décor modern wood. T.V. Comfortable bed. Large bathroom. Bed and bath linen good. Shampoo, soap and shower gel provided. Free...

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Hotel for four nights celebrating our anniversary. We were both extremely pleased with the hotel. It is beautiful and true to its french style. We had a wonderful stay. The room was perfect for us (208). The rooms aren't massive, but, they're lovely. The location of the metro for most popular tourist spots...

Location is excellent. Room is a good size and spotless. The bed is comfortable and the linens fresh and crisp. The finish is modern and uncluttered. The room is very well sound proofed. My room was dark as it look inwards to the enclosed courtyard and the lighting could have been better. The Bathroom is spotless, small and functional, however...

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
