Hotel is really poor and simple but if you want to stay cheap in Paris consider I'Averyon hotel. Hotel is great located near the place de la bastille in the center of "historic" Paris. Don't expect too much but it is a really GOOD place for budget travelers!

Location and price were big factors when looking for a place to stay for our honeymoon, but this place is just terrible. All the pictures on booking.com are taken in the foyer, and create a false sense of security and our expectations have definitely not been met. 1. Stairs to the rooms are small, cramped, dirty, slanting to one side...

Bad hotel, dirty and full of mold. even.. the sheets are dirty!! The reception is restored and pleasant, but if you climb the stairs.. the "dream" ends! i cant forget.. the stairs were full of dust and the waitress had put the sheets on the floor, indifferent to the customers! the bathroom was painful, and very very small. We paid 140 Euro for a room for 4 people including breakfast. Room was clean, functional, but basic. There was no A/C but the fan was welcome and the temperature was not a problem despite the hot weather in Paris that week. The breakfast was small but good. Location was the biggest plus for us- we wanted to be near...

Stayed here for one night in May 2009, solo traveler on his way home from several weeks of touring Turkey and Balkans. Price for Paris, about 65 euro, is hard to beat. A very small room, pretty dark. I remember while climbing the narrow stairway thinkig that if there was a fire I would be in deep trouble. Located in...

Service: No complaints, staff were friendly enough. Wouldn't hurt to be a tad more accommodating to English speakers seeing as they run a hotel and all. Room: No way were they two star rooms. looked like a renovation in progress in some parts. No control for the heating, woke up sweating the first night, slept with the window open from...

The hotel is close to the Gare de Lyon, probably 10min or less walk from the station down a smaller alley/street off of Rue de Bercy. There are small restaurants and cafes in the area and there's also a bike rental station (credit card only I think) if you want to bike around Paris. The hotel is small and worn...

I was traveling alone on business, on my dime. Needed Internet, a decent bed, a desk, and a decent price (60 euro per night!). This hotel was 2 blocks from Gare de Lyon and just over the river from Gare Austlitz - perfect location. Room was small as was the desk. The bathroom was very small - fine for me...
