Hotel is very centrally located. Walking distance from the airport bus stop. Hotel is just next to Printemps and Galeries Lafayette is a short walk away. There's a supermarket 20 metres from the hotel. Perfect for short stays. Room was a bit small eventhough we had a large studio but I guess that's consistent all over Europe. Room was clean...

If you want to visit the opera and/or get in some great shopping this is the great location. Metro/train stops are near by as are smaller boutiques/shops, coffee shops, cafes, restaurants, etc. The front desk was helpful and spoke excellent English. The room was spacious, bright, small dinette kitchen and a view of a church and pedestrian street. If you...

My wife, teenage daughter and I stayed here for 2 nights. The location is fantastic within walking distance of most main attractions. The room was very clean however very small. Reception staff speak English and are very helpful.

I have stayed twice at this hotel but am not at all pleased with the booking company. The booking company's website gives no description of the size of the rooms, but neither does the hotel's website. I paid extra for a larger-than-normal room but instead received a shoebox. For my second stay I paid even more for what I thought...

We stayed here for 3 nights and it's just a shambles. Every time we left our room, the door card cancelled and we had to line up to get it reset. After the 5th time we complained, only to be told this it is us, our problem. If the cards don't work, how is that due to us.. I don't...

This hotel is no frills compared to other Paris hotels but has Everthing you need. The price was fantastic, location perfect for walking to the metro and right in the middle of the main shopping area. Room was a good size for Paris and had microwave, small dishwasher and basics for self contained. Breakfast served was mediocre but ok if...

Major plus point was the extremely comfortable bed and total lack of noise at night - brilliant after busy sightseeing days. Hidden away in a back street but so close to Bvd Haussman and Metro station, and of course the Opera. Stayed here Friday-Monday, perfect for setting out on foot or jumping on the Metro to visit sights. Lovely apartment...

2 min walk to printemps and la fayette. Close to subway stations. I wish the monoprix grocery store across would close later 9pm because we come back late most of the night. Loved that the kitchen includes electric kettle so we can make tea and boil water to refill out bottle.

Quietest accommodation in a long while. Great Opera location yet easy to navigate the metro to get around. We had a studio room which was perfect. You could cook but we eat out. Fantastic shopping outside the door.

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
