Stayed here as a family of 4 in a 1 bedroom apartment for 3 nights as part of a Europe trip. We found this apartment to be reasonably comfortable and in a good location. We were warmly greeted in reception and found reception staff to be most helpful and genuinely friendly, with good English and good humour. Staff were nicely...

The lobby was nice and modern. The hotel staff was very friendly, humorous and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We stayed for two nights in a two bedroom apartment for 6 people. The beds were comfortable and there were two pull out couches which also had comfortable thick mattresses. We took the train to Paris and the station...

Average hotel overall. The one thing to be aware of is hidden costs with this hotel. We felt that they were not up front on charges that cost us nearly 400 euros more. I would avoid this hotel. There are far too many good hotels in Paris that you should stay with that are not looking to take advantage of...

We stayed at this hotel at the end of 4-5 weeks on the road and were disappointed from the moment we walked in the door until we left. I'm surprised by the reviews being so +'ve about this hotel. Firstly they say it's a fully equipped kitchen. Well.... No griller, no oven, no toaster, plates are too big for the...

I really liked this hotel which had a lot to do with our room - high floor and at the back of the hotel away from the street noise. I thought it was reasonably spacious by Paris standards! First thing to be aware of is that this hotel is on a narrow one way street. Our cab reversed quite aways...

Its a problem that tripadvisor's ratings are a little too rigid. I hesitate to give a very good rate, but this place is definitely better than average. Just not very good. I stayed here for a week in June and the location was awesome. Tucked just right behind Printemps, it is the best location for a shopaholic (like me). However,...

We wanted a place that has decent room, good front desk, good breakfast, good location. Went there with 2 kids. Stayed for a week. Had a one bedroom apt which is really two rooms. Plus a kitchenette. Decent sized rooms. The front desk was efficient. If you are from the US or from a small town, it takes getting used...

We stayed here in May 2013 for 4 nights after coming off a 7 night Seine river cruise. We were fortunate to have a corner apartment with a separate spacious bedroom and a very small kitchenette area. The apartment would be great for a family or people travelling together as the bathroom and toilet area are in separate rooms and...

I still dont get why the Big Hotel chains still charge for it Location is great, everything is close...

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
