This was the worst hotel experience of my life. We woke up at 3am to over 30 bedbugs in the beds of both the hotel rooms we had booked out. When we went down to tell the receptionist he was very unhelpful and could not give us a solution so we were left out on the streets with no where to go from the early hours of the morning. When we came back to get a refund a new receptionist couldn’t not help us and told us lies about not having any contact with her supervisors to help us. We have now left paying for 2 nights accomodation that we could not stay at and having to find somewhere else to stay. I suggest that no one ever stays at this hotel.

We travel quiet a bit as retired airline employees, so we frequent all kinds of Hotels. We booked this hotel thru booking.com. What was advertised was not even close to we saw. This place was so dirty and sheets were dingy, bathroom was disgusting and even though we were stuck there one night,I was actually afraid to take off my clothes to get in the bed!. I blocked a dresser up to the door. NEVER MORE!.

We booked this hotel on the internet. The location near to the Gare du Nord seemed just right for visiting the main landmarks of tourist interest in Paris. Even with the help of a GPS, It was with some difficulty that we located the hotel. Our sense of relief was shattered when we discovered that we were alloted rooms on the 6th floor and the only lift in the building went only upto the 5th floor. This meant that we had to carry our heavy bags up one flight of dimly lit steps. It is also pertinent to point out that the lift is so small that it was not possible for 2 persons to go up together let alone carry a bag with them.

The rooms were austerely done which was not a problem. But we found that the toilet was poorly equipped - no shampoo, no hand soap, not enough towels for the occupants of the room. There was a tub but no shower curtain which means that the whole bathroom floor gets wet if a person has a bath/ shower. The towels had holes in them. When this was pointed out to the reception they merely shrugged their shoulder and pretended that they did not understand English.

The worst was still to follow when we found to our dismay that the room heating system did not working at night. and we had too take cover under the thin blankets to ward off the cold. Next morning they said that this would be fixed before the next night but nothing was done.

Overall it was a very unpleasant experience. We had paid the money in advance over the internet and had little recourse to recovering damages from them for the poor quality of service and lousy facilities. When the lift was not available we had to frequently walk up to the sixth floor and the staircase was not even illuminate adequately to see the steps

We like to warn all prospective travelers so they do not suffer like we did.

My room was dirty, filthy and there were cockroaches running all over the place along with other unidentified insects. I didn't even open my luggage and I went downstair asking for my room to be changed. I was told I needed to pay more which was absurd and after discussing with both the receptionist and the manager and after being told "you either sleep there or you can find somewhere else" I asked for a full refund (I paid a whole week!) but it was denied. I then left the hotel (late in the evening under the rain) and had to find another accommodation for the night. The day after I went to report them to the police and I went also back to the hotel to ask again to be refunded. I was told that I was lying and that there were no cockroaches in the room. We went to the room and "surprise surprise" someone was there cleaning, I showed them the pictures taken the night before and I was told were fake and taken from Internet. Needless to say that the staff of the hotel is rude and far from professional. This place should be shut down.

I stayed here recently, booked a twin and got a double. The reception staff were pleasant and payment was easy. The room was petit. It was basic but adequate for one night. There was no air conditioning so was hot and we kept the window open which was ok for us as we slept heavily but if you are a light sleeper you'd find this difficult as it's very noisy outside. The noise calms down about 1am-ish but starts again early. The room seemed clean but the bathroom could with regrouting and they were a few cracks in the tiles. Various other bits of maintenance didn't doing.

Unfortunately we booked this hotel for our stay in Paris in January. As this was not our first stay in Paris we knew already that hotels might be relatively expensive and serve a rather poor breakfast. However, this hotel was by far the worst hotel experience in Paris ever.

The room was very small, with plastic mattress cover, heating which did not function (as a result the room was very cold, as one can imagine in January), and other broken things in the bathroom (e.g. bathroom lighting).

Moreover, the breakfast (7 euros per person) was very limited. Parisien hotels are wellknown for their often limited breakfast, but this was the worst I have ever seen!

One could say that this is not a problem at all if the price is very low, however, this was definitively not the case. The only positive aspect is the fact that the hotel is located nearby Gare du Nord and can be reached by a 5 minute walk. Nevertheless, I would say: don't even think about it!!!

I've been there with my family (2 small children included) on a business trip. they got our internet reservation wrong (so we didn't get the cot we paid for), the hotel was very dirty, the shower was broken and I had to ask a cleaning person working for the hotel to replace the broken part, since the reception clerks just kept saying 'we'll do it in a while' and never sent any professional (and we stayed 6 days). the bed sheets were very dirty, the used, even wet towels weren't changed daily, and they put no soap on the washbasin.
this wasn't a two stars hotel, and it was heavy understandard even for the paris gare du nord area.

This is the most disgusting, filthy hotel I've ever stayed in. Having had to book late due to travel delays and needing somewhere close to Gare du Nord, thought this was ideal - wrong!!
Room 101 was like a prison cell and towels stained and bathroom in need of renovation.
After trying to fall asleep I felt something crawling over by neck and arms. On switching on the light, the bed was literally crawling with hundreds of bugs - large and small.
Night manager changed my room but had to endure restless night. Early in the morning they didn't even offer compensation or an apology. 1 week later, the bites erupted on my body - arms, legs, neck - counted about 60 bites!
The most horrendous place I've ever stayed in.
Staff - terrible
Rooms - filthy
Bed bugs - plenty
