I almost don't want to write this, because it's so nice to have found an affordable place to stay in Paris, and I'd hate to find one day that I can't book a room because the hotel is so in demand... But I will anyway. I'm staying here tonight and am writing this from my room. If something dramatic happens...

Have an open mind if staying here, if you are looking for a hotel which is cheap and in a good location then this hotel could be for you. It is not the best hotel in terms of facilities, but it is in a great location, close to the underground which allows for access to the centre of Paris within...

We, my wife and I, were on a trip with our friends and stayed just one night in the hotel. The building needs to be repaired. Rooms are really small and pretty dirty. Bathrooms are the same. The location of the hotel was very strange. I couldn't feel safe on that region, but it's very close to the metro stations...

The hotel is in a state of disrepair. The frontdesk staff is great, very knowledgeable, willing to help have a good time in Paris. Its just that the hotel is in need of upkeep. My shower had no holder for the shower head, the toilet never stopped running. The bathroom sink leaked as did the toilet seal. The linens were...

Rooms are too old, intercom not working and ceilings are dirty and not clean. Bathroom is small so if you are well built you will not fit in. Near by area is also not safe. Carpets are bad, shower area is too small. All this description is about superior room, so one can think about standard room that how terrible...

the real value of the Hotel is the location. Besides the room was excellent clear, room environment (towels, bed, floor etc.) kept perfectly clean. Overall: perfect for staying on low price, located by Montmartre close to two metro station, 15-30 mins from any main locations. Recomended to evryone if the high class hotel environment is not the most important aspect.

The hotel is very clean and in a very good location nearby the Chateau Rouge Metro Station, but the room that we stayed was in upstairs in a terrible spiral stairs and in a external area, the old man in the front desk didn't helped us in nothing and almost all the time he was sleeping there and nobody at...

Very close to Sacre Coeur. Close to metro station. But I did not really like the area... it was crowded of strange people. The room was really small and not really nice. TV and telephone. Anyway, I do not think the money paid covered this choice.

Staying in Montmartre

Neighbourhood Profile
Montmartre
Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colours, and styles which changes from one street to another. Ride the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy features shops not intended for young audiences, while residences are scattered to the north and east. The diverse population includes a large part from the Arab-speaking world, Africa, and Turkey. It’s a corner of Paris full of life and dynamism with charms that can’t be found anywhere else.
