Paris doesn't have that many option for decent budget hotel in a well-located area, so we set our expectation very low to begin with. We were 2 small Asian girls carrying only cabin-size luggage for a quick trip, so this hotel is just perfect for us. If you're going with family for a longer relaxing trip, with some luggage you...

Admittedly, we are not used to staying in European hotels (spoiled by the States), however, after the reviews we read for this hotel (and it being close to Gare du Nord) we figured it seemed like a decent choice. There were 7 in our party ages 13-68 and one of us with very bad knees. The lobby is tiny but...

Close to Gare De Nord, and in the middle of 3 metro stations, would recommend Strasbourg St Denis as it is close and easy to get to from there. Lots of local restaurants and easy walking distance to Notre Dame and well within walking distance to the Louvre. Staff either spoke French or were helpful if you tried to if...

The staff from reception is friendly and try and make effort to speak english with you! Bed is confortable, room small but pretty good, however is cold when the heater is off, even when on doesn't stay very...

I reserved a room a month in advance. Then 2 days before my trip they cancelled my reservation because the price online was incorrect. They should have honoured their price, seeing as how it was their mistake. But no, I was left to look for a hotel 2 days before my trip. Not nice, Palace Hotel

My husband and I stayed at Palace Hotel for six nights. It was a very good deal considering the location. The hotel is only a few minute walk from Strasbourg Saint-Denis Metro and the line 4 goes to Ile de la Cité (Notre-Dame and Sainte-Chapelle) and the line 8 can drop you off near the museums such as Louvre and...
