If I could, I would give 10 stars, because 5 is not enough. If you are looking for a perfect stay to visit Paris, well connected to the whole city, in a wonderful area and a stone’s throw from Orly airport, you must necessarily come here.

Elodie and all the staff will make you feel at home, following you throughout your stay and listening to your every request, even the most particular. When you leave, you will be sorry not to see them again!

The value for money is impressive. For a cost that is impossible to find in Paris you will have everything you need, with spacious rooms (to be in Paris) and without problems of soundproofing, a problem very common to Parisian structures. In addition, the hotel is well exposed to the sun, allowing even with high temperatures to stay cool.

The location is a stone’s throw from bus stops 67 and especially the metro stops Place d’Italie (5,6,7) and Tolbiac (14).

If we return to Paris, we will definitely choose this hotel, and recommend it to all our relatives and friends. Thank you Elodie for the welcome!

Ah, I forgot: for Italian friends they also have a room with a bidet! 😍

I took a whirlwind three-day trip to Paris with five older students: Élodie welcomed us very well, and so did the other receptionists. They provided us with the entire stay, directions to eat, buy a sandwich or have a drink, facilities to store our suitcase... They offered us coffee in the morning and took care to place us in the rooms in the most comfortable way, even giving us a more room.
It is a very modest hotel, without pretensions, without luxuries, but very very clean and very welcoming. It is true that there is no elevator and you should know that the double rooms are almost all with double beds, they are also small rooms. But if these things don't bother you, it is perfect for a short or long stay in Paris.
The neighborhood is safe and has a lot of personality, very authentic. It has many shops and is very lively. It is far from the center but this is compensated by the fact that it is very well connected to the metro: three lines reach Place d'Italie. The 6 goes directly to the Eiffel Tower, the 7 goes directly to the Louvre, without transfers.
I strongly recommend this hotel.

We had a very good time during our stay, especially we are very happy with the warm attitude of Élodie and company. Everything was very clean. The location is very good, the neighborhood is very quiet and welcoming and the metro is close with 3 lines that pass through Place d'Italie. There are lots of restaurants and atmosphere; there is also a bakery around the corner for a quick bite.

Its hard to say what is exceptional about this hotel. We love it and have been many times. Its just a well run, friendly traditional hotel at a reasonable price. If you like satellite television a min bar and perfect paint work, then go to the Radison or the Hilton. If you just like a very traditional simple old hotel that is welcoming and in a lovely part of Paris with few tourist attractions this may be for you.

Whenever we come to Paris, so several times a year, my husband and I reside at the Pension Verlaine. It's become a must. The welcome is always very warm, everything is done to make our stay pleasant, it is really great, especially in our time. Pension is typically Parisian, very cozy, the rooms are comfortable, nicely decorated. The Parisian breakfast is always a real little pleasure and with a wide amplitude. Perfect Award Value, without competition in this neighborhood. And the Butte aux Cailles district, a Parisian nugget to visit in its every nook and cranny. We highly recommend.

We stayed here for a night and we regret not staying longer at the Hotel Verlaine! The service was fantastic and the hotel is comfortable and quaint. Elodie and her staff were very welcoming and went to great lengths to make our stay as comfortable as possible.

Great stuff Elodie and team! I'll be staying here again when I return back to Paris.

Very nice hotel with friendly staff. Most importantly it is in the safe area.
I felt welcomed and the staff was helping whether I needed a shop, a cafe or metro questions.
I would stay here again and would definitely recommend this hotel.
The metro station to must-visits is 5min away from the hotel.

My boyfriend booked this hotel for our trip away for my 30th Birthday. The hotel was very nice and clean. The room was a little small, but did us well for what we needed. Staff was friendly and we would stay again given the chance. Was right across the street from the Metropolitan and a little shop and restaurant near by.
