We had stayed at Hotel Lumen for the last 6 days of our honeymoon back in Sept 2011. The hotel was located in the 1st Arrondissement which was very close to the Louvre. The closest Metro station would be the Pyramides but you can easily walk to the next station within minutes! LOVE the location! The hotel is a boutique...

I went to Paris on a whim, by myself, and stayed at this hotel for two nights. It was in the perfect location, close to the Tuilerries Gardens and the Louvre, walking distance to most of the places I like to visit while in Paris, including those on the Left Bank. The receptionists were friendly enough and the general staff...

We enjoyed the location of this boutique hotel and whilst we were expecting a small room, this one was really small, quite dark and had already started to be stripped out for refurbishment (head board removed etc) I read the hotel talks about its up coming refurbishment work, but the rates charged do not reflect this - you are paying...

Wifi and tv did not work in my small room and reception insisted it was because of my US Ipad and the fact that I did not turn the TV on the right away... I don't care how cute and boutiquy these Parisian hotels are, for 200 euros and a minuscule room, I would like the essantials to function and...

My first trip to Paris and Hotel Lumen made it quite enjoyable. Just steps away from a metro stop and only a short walk to the Louvre and beautiful park. Great restaurants and shopping nearby. The staff was extraordinary and made a great recommendation for dinner (even with a 10-month-old in tow!). The rooms were very nice - and even...

Unreliable customer service: They cannot even manage a wake up service! Our monetary lost: 330 euros for 2 people. Our emotional lost: invaluable … We chose Lumen Louvre hotel because of its proximity to Cityrama Tour (less than 100 meters), with whom we hired several trips.
