My family and I had some business to attend so we thought that being near the Chateau de Versailles would make our stay even more special
We booked through booking.com and there was no mention of paying a deposit,so we were a bit surprised when we were asked to pay one Few tourists were also mislead and the staff had to explain a couple of times (but that’s not the hotel staff fault) This was the only negative point the lack of information!
We were 4 adults and 2 children, and booked 3 rooms We all stayed in the Deluxe King rooms The rooms were nicely and simply decorated, but oozed class
The massive bed was very comfortable , bathroom was spotless with Clarins toiletries ( great smell I have purchased them as soon as I got back home 😂)
I have used the gym everyday , I could have used the sauna but didn’t have the time for both gym and sauna but they have lovely facilities
We had breakfast everyday and there were a lot of choices hot and cold buffet options
The kids loved the pancakes, and the rich buttery madeleines tasted so good , I could have eaten more but I was on a diet and had to control myself
The hot options were poached eggs, (other type of eggs were also available) sausages , bacon with honey (I wished they had plain bacon though) and some lovely potatoes
The food was delicious, even a fussy eater would have found something to eat !
To The cleaning team and the wonderful staff Thank you for making our stay enjoyable, we will definitely come back next year

We stayed the night of August 16, 2024 in this beautiful Pension. We would have liked to stay one more night but our schedule did not allow it... Arrived from Portugal to Orly Airport, we reached the Inn around 12:30. The person at the reception, very kind and understanding, who received us at check-in assigned us a room right away so we could rest a little before going to visit the Palace of Versailles. The deluxe room was large, clean and quiet, tastefully decorated; the bathroom was practical and elegant with beautiful Clarins care products. Breakfast room was nice, Breakfast varied and good. We loved everything at Pension MGallery Le Louis and thank the staff for their professionalism and friendliness! Obrigado de Portugal.

The location of this hotel is perfect: a 3-minute walk from the metro station and a 2-minute walk from the entrance to the Palace of Versailles. It's ideal, especially coming out of the night show. We stayed there 2 nights and enjoyed our stay. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. We even had a small balcony overlooking the town hall. The breakfast buffet is very well supplied, both savory and sweet (a wide selection of quality pastries and pastries, various fresh fruits, including strawberries and cherries, ...). Luggage storage was very helpful the day we left.

Our experience at the M Gallery Hotel in Versailles fell far short of expectations. From the moment we arrived, the challenges began: no parking was available, and there was no assistance with luggage—hardly the welcome one would anticipate from a hotel of this reputation.
The discomfort only deepened upon reaching the second floor, where the entire level, including our six rooms, was permeated by an overwhelming odor (we think it was of vinegar). This unpleasant detail made settling in difficult and raised questions about the hotel’s standards.
One of the main reasons we selected this property was the promise of room service, only to find it unavailable and “sold out.” This lack of foresight and preparation added to the growing frustration. The service overall was inattentive and far below expectations.
The final disruption came late at night when a power surge at 11:00 PM forced three of our rooms to be relocated—a significant inconvenience that capped an already disappointing stay.
While the hotel’s location is undeniably convenient, it is clear that location alone cannot compensate for poor management and lackluster service. This experience has left me questioning the reliability of TRIPIT reviews, as they appear to overstate the quality of this establishment. Regrettably, I cannot recommend this hotel and would advise travelers to consider alternative accommodations.

The porch at the entrance to the hotel invites you to enter, and when the doors open, everything is beautiful. The welcome is very cheerful, the staff at the bar, in the restaurant... are young and friendly. The room is as we saw it on the site, spacious, quiet, very large comfortable bed. Clarins products in the bathroom are a plus! And the parking right next door, accessible from the hotel, is very practical. And for those who come to visit the castle, the location is ideal.

Nice hotel but with 4 stars it is expected that the room will be ready when you arrive at 3.30pm for check-in. We were two couples and had rooms with a balcony. The breakfast was fine - note here that you can order soft-boiled eggs and an omelette. Surprisingly, coffee was not refilled every day - we think that is not worthy of 4 stars. We ate a single evening at the hotel. Here we got drinks before the meal which were quite expensive, and for a 4 star hotel we had expected there to be nuts for example. The food was nice but on the expensive end. On Hotel.com it says there is a pool - there isn't, but there is a nice fitness area with steam bath and sauna.

Wonderfully located, the Louis MGallery could almost touch the famous statue that first represents the magnificence of Versailles. Upon arrival, very nice decoration that shows only the beginning of the refinement of the establishment. Enjoying a Night Suite upgrade, the Inn has upgraded me to a Louis XIV suite, a little must in terms of accommodation. Classic rooms also remain of very good standing. Nice table at the restaurant L’Alcove and very good dishes from chef Romain Schleiffer. Too bad that evening due to the large tables ( 2 x 12 ) I had to cancel my dessert due to the long wait ( 35 minutes ). It’s also a pity that a person without education without life skills aggressively challenged the staff and not only. Congratulations to the whole team who showed professionalism to manage the deteriorating situation. As mentioned with Mrs. Margot V representing the management the next morning during a very constructive exchange, do not let an idiot ruin this stay and make forget the essentials. So yes the Louis is a wonderful establishment, yes all the staff is very Leader and shows a lot of consideration for customers, yes my stay was a delight and Yes it feels good at home. Thank you all for your kindness and gestures of gratitude. Looking forward to seeing you again.

Great location. Nice facility. Great staff. BUT both our rooms had serious air conditioning problems that went unaddressed despite several requests. Staff seems to think smiling at you is an adequate substitute for cooler air in your room. So dont go in the summer it is no fun trying to sleep with a room temperature above 82 degrees.

The Hotel don’t offer towels, disinfection spray for the machines or water in the gym….. I would say that’s a standard in all hotels I stayed until now. On the other side they run 24 hours the hamam and the sauna - ecological a disaster !
And if you ask the reception, they say you have to bring the towel from the room and also the water. The water out of an empty Minibar????
And during a Covid pandemic a disinfection spray should be obligatory!!!!
A bit disappointing……

Response from stéphane gerbet, Directeur général at Hôtel Le Louis Versailles Château - MGallery
Responded Jun 22, 2022
Dear Harald, Thank you for your comment! Since the covid we no longer offer towels directly from our wellness area for hygiene reasons. However, we do provide disinfectant wipes for everyone to use. Moreover, our sauna and hammam are not in operation 24 hours a day since it is necessary to press a button in order to start it and thus not to be an ecological disaster. We also have water fountains available in our wellness area to quench your thirst. I am sorry you did not enjoy the experience. Warm regards, Stéphane Gerbet General Manager
