The owners of the hostel were really friendly and helpful and the room was incredibly spacious. Although a bit of a walk to the Cité, it was well-located right next to the train station and near the center of the main part of the city. Felt really bad though because we skipped breakfast one morning to plan part of our...

The Guesthouse is in an older building and the beds were quite small, but altogether very comfortable! The owners were exceptionally friendly and helpful and make a killer breakfast in the mornings. It's located right in the middle of Carcassonne, and it takes about 15 minutes to get to the old walled city. We were there for Bastille Day and...

The accommodation can only be described as tatty. We booked this place as it was literally the last room we could get hold of in Carcassonne. We shared a bathroom with the other guests. Negative review coming? No way. The limitations of the accommodation were more than made up for: the price we paid was an absolute bargain and the...

I stayed at Millett Guesthouse in August of 2007 (yes, it's been a while). I must say that I have nothing but very fond memories of our stay there. The home is large, quiet, and the hosts are the best of the best. Very helpful, accommodating and welcoming. We emailed to let them know we'd be late checking in after...

We spent two lovely days in the Millet Guesthouse. We got the bus straight from the airport to the SNCF train station (5 Euro) and from there it took us five minutes to get to the guesthouse. This was our first time in Carcassonne and we were welcomed straight away by Richard and Maai who sat down with us and...

We'd been to Carcassonne a couple of times before and stayed on the outskirts of the town. Unfortunately, or fortunately, they were full when we enquired about staying in October 2010. So after a few searches, we came across Millett Guesthouse. The room we had was very large, with enough room to have a double bed and 2 singles, although...

Richard and Meei were very welcoming, helpful and caring. We had the large room at the back facing the garden, a perfect room for the two of us and all our stuff. Bathroom is shared with all of the other guests. The guesthouse is a traditional french home with lots of charm and character. The location is perfect, close to...

Meei and Richard were welcoming hosts in their centrally located home in the basse-ville. We had a big bright room at the back overlooking the garden of the Carmelite convent. Bed could have been a bit more comfortable, and housekeeping wasn't their strongest point but the house is very charming and we were very satisfied. A friend who was staying...

I myself discovered the Millett Guesthouse on Trip Advisor for a recent trip taking in Biarittz, Bayonne and then Carcassonne. Due to the recent strikes which encompassed the whole of France I found my travel plans within the country severley hampered. Because there were no trains running my stay in Carcassonne was cut from 3 days to 1 with a...

This is my first trip review so I will try to be balanced. After 2 days in the very comfortable and central citea in nimes we went to carcassone for 2 nights at the Millett guesthouse. Firstly the good points. The location is good, just off the main road leading from the train station to the mediaeval cite. May and...
