The most helpful owners of any hotel I had stayed in France. The view from the 3rd floor room was directed right to the main parts of the citadel. Excellent location to the river, the old bridge and the main citadel. Rooms were clean. Great breakfast. A must if you want four star reception and service for a great price.

Very nice, friendly and helpful staff; nice and comfy room. We were staying two nights only though (heading to Barcelona later on), large choice on breakfast (local cheese, pastries,... nice and fresh). I recommend to stay!

In terms of location, situation just around the corner from the castle, the main tourist attraction. There were an abundant of restaurants along the streets. The design of the building was rustic, quaint and cosy. Original medieval and gothic structures were present but modern improvements and renovations to rooms and bathrooms. The rooms were spacious and clean. Also the rooftop...

Perfect location for visiting the citadel in Old town of Carcassonne.Rooms good size clean and a great nights sleep. We occupied a room on the second floor, overlooking the courtyard.A stunning view of the lit up fortress from our little wooden shuttered window.I can't thank Jean Micheal and Caterina enough for their hospitality and information they had given us. Hotel Pont View has the most perfect location in Carcassone. It is ideally placed at the east side of the old (foot traffic) bridge, so it provides easy access to the "new" city (with its beautiful downtown and canal cruises) and it is within very easy walking distance to the castle/ La Cité. It's outside appearance does not do it...

A lovely hotel, in a great position on the entrance to the city. The patron and his partner, made our stay very enjoyable, nothing was to much for them, with advice on what to see, and booking our restaurants in the evening. From our room we could see the city, which was magical when lit up in the evening. We...

Situated just outside the Citadel the hotel is in a great location. I am a pensioner and was visiting Carcassonne as a birthday treat with my daughter. We had a spacious room at the back with lovely views, very comfy beds and very powerful shower with plenty of hot water. Plenty of choice at breakfast to suit everyone. What more...

A welcoming small hotel , perfectly positioned to stroll upto the medieval citadel and for night viewings from the roof terrace of the illuminated fortress. A pleasant back walled garden offers a quiet place to read and correspond. The proprietors are a congeinial couple who made us feel most welcome and at ease. The room we had was spacious and...

We chose here for it's proximity to the citadel and for it's reviews on Trip Adivsor. We were not disappointed. Friendly and helpful owners offering lots of information about how to get around the citadel and good places to eat. The room was lovely, right over the front door but secondary double glazing and shutters meant we had a reasonably...
