The staff were very helpful, the restaurant was excellent both for dinner and breakfast and it was well within walking distance of the castle and the town. We would definitely stay again if we were in the area.

Visited this hotel with my wife for a short break was slightly disturbed by one or two of the reviews we had read but must say that everything was great. Hotel is situated on the eastern outskirts of the town on a trading estate but good views over to the snow capped mountains. Shopping locally with two supermarkets close including...

For the price we paid the Hotel offers superb value for money. Beds incredibly comfortable, staff very helpful. We had the family room with a king sized bed and an additional single for our 4 year old so it was a little cramped, but we only use our room for sleeping in, so we don't need acres of space. The...

Consistent with the Ibis standard, I have nothing to complain about my stay. My room was clean and as large as I needed. Staff helpful, good breakfast and the location is not as bad as I thought when I booked as it was a mere 20 minutes walking to La Cite'.

We stayed there for two nights whilst visiting Carcassonne castle - just five minutes away by car. This Campanile is a very clean, comfortable budget hotel in a highly convenient location for such a purpose and we were not disappointed. Would definitely stay there again.

After staying in immaculate family run B&Bs throughout a trip going back into a chain was a little shock, although there was nothing wrong with the hotel you could tell it was more commercialised. Room was decent and clean although the floor was a little old and worn out, not so pleasant in bare feet. Staff were friendly and helpful...

Ibis Carcassonne was good from the beginning. No reservation, good clean-small-room bathroom, good breakfast-excellent Coffee machine and garage for my BMW GS! The front desk attendants acted as if I was Dr Greg Frazer, the world's greatest biker and the Restaurant people even had gluten free toast available for my wife.

Many ibis hotels have been refurbished in recent years and this one could do with it. Having said that the beds were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was typically continental at €9 a head and there was quite a bit of variety. The staff were pretty good, helpful and polite and happy to serve drinks well into the night. Location is...

Just came back from Carcassone. This hotel is fine. It is located on the outskirts of town. It takes about 30 min to walk to La Cite. Good selection of food for breakfast - croissants, cheese, cornflakes, muisli, ham, tea, coffee but no hot food, which was ok for me. They also had a stand with fruit (oranges, pears, apples,...

Reading other reviews was a bit concerned that we may have chosen wrongly, not the case, everyone has their opinions and other people see differing things. We stayed at this hotel for two nights whilst we wandered around Carcassonne The staff were excellent and the hotel was in tip-top condition. Highly recommended! We will definitely return to this hotel. The...
