We stayed for just one night in August. This small b&b is located about 25 minutes walk from the old town and about 15 minutes from the new town. There is ample free parking directly outside, we parked literally outside the door. The owners speak excellent English and couldn't be more helpful. Our room was interestingly decorated and featured a... More

Having wanted to visit Carcassonne for years, I was lucky to have the chance to finally go--and luckier still to find this place. I definitely want to go back to Carcassonne some day, and will be sad if I don't get to stay here again. The location of this place can't be beat. It's just five minutes from the train... More

We stayed for three nights and can highly recommend this facility for a visit to Carcassonne. The owners were most helpful and friendly, the room spacious and comfortable, the breakfast very good and the location perfect and peaceful at night, as well as for exploring the town and surrounding attractions.

My wife and I have just returned from a three night trip to Carcassonne, where we stayed at the delightful Maison Sans Frontiere. Michel, the proprietor, was welcoming and helpful. We had the quirky Sri Lanka room, which is large and quite well-equipped for a guest house. The twin beds are comfortable. There is air conditioning if things get a bit... More

Maison sans Frontiere isba very nice place to stay. It is close to some good and inexpensive restaurants, the train station, and the Canal du Midi. La Cite is a 25 minute walk away. The street it's on is safe, and quiet at night. Street parking is free, but a bit challenging to find close to the house. We had... More

We stayed here for one night as an alternative to hotels on our trip through the south of France. The owners are quaint and have two big rooms, one with decor from Sri Lanka and the other from Senegal. We stayed in the Sri Lanka room which had an enormous bathroom en suite. It was very comfortable and the shower... More

Had 2 nights in the Sri Lankan room or should I say rooms. (Huge bathroom). Very comfortable, great location, handy to station, nice breakfast and wonderful hosts. Highly recommend to everyone as Carcassonne has some great sights to see and this is the ideal place to be based.

This is a small guesthouse not far from the station. There are only three rooms available but each is large and comfortable and our two were themed, one being a Senegal room and the other a Sri Lankan. This was novel and innovative. The rooms are air conditioned and the beds are extremely comfortable. The hosts are most friendly and... More

“We had the `Sri Lanka` themed room, it was fine. Just remember that you`re staying in a small , private B&B not one of the big chains, so it has a bit of character. Our room had A/C, not that we needed in in early May.”

“Personally I preferred the African room (blue and brown) where we slept 2 years ago. The colours were more restful than the bright yellow and orange Sri Lankan room we had this time. But yellow is nice to wake up to!”

“Room away from the front may be quieter. If you are coming from the airport on the shuttle bus then totally ignore their friendly driver,He took us miles away from the B&B.”
