This is a straightforward very basic hotel, a clean room with good beds, nice bathroom and a view to die for. If you need lots of amenities to feel at home, look elsewhere. Our room had a little balcony with two small chairs. I spent hours day and night sitting out there. They have WiFi in the lobby, and sometimes...

Very mediocre hotel, small, unprepossessing rooms but WONDERFUL POSITION and VIEW in the front to die for! Breakfast typical and lovely to have it outside. Been back twice and going again in September. Can't wait!

Excellent waterfront location; room overlooking Harbour. Easy walk to town with many very good restaurants nearby. Rooms on the small size but other assets compensate. Stayed on our way north from Barcelona then rebooked on our way south a month later.

I have been coming to this hotel for the past 10 years and I cannot believe that I have never written a review before ! I love the place ! Years ago, I stayed in the actual town but there was no view and far too much noise - so when I found this gem, I have never strayed elsewhere....

We had never been to Collioure and were not certain we'd made the best choice for a place to stay but all doubt was erased once we arrived and walked into our second floor balcony room at the Hotel Boramar. The french doors opened right onto a view of the sea unobstructed by car traffic or tourist shops. Instead we...

This isn't the worst hotel in the world. The rooms are basic and the bathrooms are a bit small, but it's clean, the staff is friendly, and the view is mind-blowing. We had room 5 on the first floor and my aunt had room 3. Our room had a double and a single bed which was great for holding all...

The charm of Collioure, France is matched by the charm and friendliness of this hotel. The hotel is on the opposite side of the cove from all the noise of the tourist area but not too far for a nice stroll downtown. The room was clean and the bath totally acceptable. The breakfast - continental - was well done in...

Booked this hotel at the last minute and was lucky to get a small room with a great balcony and view (June 2011). The room was very basic but we spent most of the waking time we were at the hotel on the balcony enjoying the amazing sunset and harbor lights come on.

The answer, for me, is 'No'. Many TA reviewers have considered the poor facilities at the hotel against the outstanding views. We only stayed there for one night, which made it bearable. The bedding was threadbare. The toilet/shower room was on the dingy side of acceptable. The toilet roll holder is situated on the wall directly behind the toilet, requiring...

A perfect location in town right on the beach. We were very late getting into town after driving through the Pyrennes all day but Thierry (manager) made arrangements for someone to meet us with the key and let us in. Actually this was unplanned since we did not know they close the front desk at 8 PM. We stayed in...

“best view rooms are the 2 upper floor rooms with balconies. If you want more space pick the one with a double and twin bed instead of just the double. Wifi probably works in the first floor rooms if that is important to you but we had to go down to the lobby to check our e-mail as it didn't reach the upper floors.”

“Collioure is not a place you get to by accident; You have to be going there. Trains do run through Collioure but verify that they will stop there. We took a train out at 7:30 PM.”

“make sure you get an ensuite sea view room with a balcony - many rooms have to share a bathroom and toilet.”
