Though thoroughly disappointed with Montpellier, the one bright spot of our week there was this hotel. There on business, it was in acceptable location (10 minute walk from the conference center, and lacking the aggressive beggars that seem to grow from every corner in Montpellier). It is a very charming hotel, and its location out of the city center allows...

We enjoyed our stay in Hotel du Parc in July 2004. The room was clean, comfortable and charmingly decorated. The washroom was large and spotless. We had a private courtyard patio (comes with the triple room), where the staff brought our breakfast each morning. There was also an outside patio for all guests to enjoy, which was set-up with breakfast...

As our first stop in France on our honeymoon, Hotel Du Parc was a lovley hotel. Clean, comfortable, beautiful decor, quaint and a very helpful team of people running the hotel. Theresa was especially helpful as she had fluent English and went of her way to make us feel at home, the other ladies did not speak fluent English but...

Hotel is full of character and pleasing to look at. Rooms are clean although our shower area tended to soak the whole bathroom. Parking area is very useful but can get a little congested at certain times. Staff are great. Warm and friendly, very obliging and helpful. However, the location is not great. The area is very seedy and does...

The Hotel itself is cute. It is simple--not lavish at all, but well kempt and orderly. The rooms are a bit dark and very clean. Our bathroom did have a concerning hole in the wall that led outside...I'm still not exactly sure why it was there although it looked like it had a purpose. The staff is so grateful and...

The Hotel du Park is a bit out of the way in Montpellier. It is a long walk to the town center, but the new tram (1.10 euro) stops one block from the hotel. The street is quiet, and the hotel is also quiet. There is no elevator, and there are plenty of steep stairs. The place has atmosphere --...

My wife and I stayed there last year on our Honeymoon - Hotel has loads of character; good location; clean, bright (if small) rooms. Overnight rate was excellent value. We lloved it and would go back tomorrow if we could.

This warm and charming hotel has beautifully and uniquely decorated rooms, with well appointed private bathrooms. It was quite a 'step up' from my earliest experiences in small French hotels. On site parking and proximity to the tram line are added conveniences. Gorgeous place!

We spent a wonderful time in Montpellier, and specially in hotel du Parc. We loved the decoration (really french southern ) and the two landladies Claire and Francoise make us feel like home.
