Very basic hotel just off the motorway used as a stop over. The rooms are clean, you get a television and access to wifi. It's cheap and if you ask the receptionist will accomodate your room preference. The showers and toilets are tired and not kept as clean as they were in earlier visits. F1 offers a cheap breakfast across...

Stayed overnight to pick family up from airport. Showers and toilets filthy. Room not clean and stank of smoke. Breakfast (don't bother) no cereal, no bread, no croissants, awful coffee and no-one on duty. We were sent a survey and it would not allow you to submit it, probably because it was a very low rating.

We stayed here to break up our journey to the south of France. You get what you pay for, the room was clean and basic, however the shower and toilets were a little tired and as a result didn't feel clean.

I booked into the F1 as its close to "Oradour sur Glane" a village massacred by the SS in 1944. The hotel is basic, but is clean and comfortable with twin beds in the room. Showers and toilets are down the hall and are shared. TV in the room and a sink. There are a couple of restraunts nearby and...

F1 is the 'bargain basement': you either like it or you don't. This one used to feel sharp and well-run, now it feels a bit neglected and battered, even though it still advertises itself as renovated, following the makeover a couple of years ago.

This hotel is disgusting. I would rate as zero if I could! It was dirty everything stank of smoke, even the bedding, which wasn't clean. I refused to use the toilets I couldn't bring myself to go near them. I would never use any F1 again after this.

Best value among many motels based on this industrial estate outside of Limoges. An ideal mid France stop off point and hence its popularity. Rooms smelt of cigarettes, but it was otherwise clean and I felt the car was safe (it was full of gear). Booked 10 minutes before on internet. 2 adults + 2 children in one room for...

Stayed overnight in a few of these budget hotels over a few years. this one was awful as the rooms stink of smoke, toilets are disgusting (even for France) and showers are old and unclean. Beds are uncomfortable, which i can understand for a budget but would appr clean sheets. Horrid. Better off using an Ibis or an Etap, although...

We have stayed in numerous HotelF1s - this one compared pretty favourably. The male receptionist was very friendly and helpful and spoke good English. The room was clean and the toilet and shower acceptable - not anywhere near as bad as some I've stayed in (although I have to say that I probably wouldn't have considered going in either with...

Its difficult to rate this, so I've given it 4 (Very Good) because at the price of 39 Euros for a room you can't expect the Ritz. Stopped here for an overnight break after 12 hours on the move, before pushing on early the next day. On-line booking process is easy but you need to be careful as it says...
