The location is superb so easy to go back in the middle of the day to rest a bit. The rooms were updated and nice. I did not get the room I reserved and was given an "upgrade" that really did not feel like one. The common areas of the hotel are outdated. I did not have breakfast in the...

As the mid point during a 5 week European Adventure, we organised to stay in the Grand Hotel de la Reine about 2 months prior to travel. My only knowledge of Nancy had been stories my father had told of his time travelling through there during the 2nd world war. He told me of the majestic buildings and a beautiful...

Grand Hotel de la Reine is located on gorgeous Place Stanislas in the heart of Nancy. It is housed in a grand 18th century building with a beautiful central staircase and palatial first floor rooms. But there was nothing grand about our stay. We booked a “classic double” for 2 nights in mid-December (106 € without breakfast & taxes) and...

We stayed 2 nights with our dogs in this historic building right at the Stanislas Place in the center of Nancy. It is really the most beautiful Place in Nancy. You can feel and almost taste the past in this area. The hotel was good. Nice room, Nice breakfast, Nice bar everything was good. The hotel is situated in a...

If you visit Nancy, you will for sure end up Place Stanislas. Since its renovation couple of years ago, this place draws a lot of crowds enjoying the cafe, restaurants and parks around, or simply strolling around and enjoying the day drawings, painting or playing music. The Grand hotel de la Reine sits right at a corner of the Place...

It is a beautiful hotel, fabulously located in one of the golden gate of Place Stanislas. We had the suite and its beautiful. with the beautiful view of the place. It is worth to stay here as its also historic and classy.. we had nice dinner in their restaurant downstair whilst watching a lightshow of the buildings at night.

It is true that the hotel is due for a renovation. It must have been quite the place decades ago. It is in a great spot however as it is on the Stanislas Square and is central to some great attractions. The service was outstanding at this hotel. Always helpful, the staff ensured that any question was answered with a...

Small rooms, price/quality = average ; It must have been a beautiful location in the old days - that shine has lost itself by socialist abuse, sorry France - ; It starts by the the right glass entrance door that doesn't open correctly- it stucks ; The square Stanislas is a charismatic area which compensates for a lot. The hotel...

This hotel is nicely situated on beautiful square, but that's all. Restaurant belong this hotel is closed on monday. Room was small and was stinking like a drain. Bed was bloody uncomfortable I had feel like if I am sleeping on the sponge. Bedding were soft and uncomfortable. Hotel looks posh but isn't. I will probably stay here again because...
