From Notes: large room; very clean; good prices on mini bar; fridge in room; separate toilet and shower; five minute walk from train; very nice, personable, helpful woman at counter-fluent in English; good TV choices; excellent location with easy twenty minute walk to John Paul 11 Square and market. Everything worked well.

I must like this place as I have stayed here for a few months! Its not a luxury hotel, more like student accommodation for grown-ups but it has a very comfortable feel to it and is very cheap. You get a basic kitchenette with 2 rings a microwave and sink and enough kit to survive, plus place to sit down to eat and work, bed, shower, toilet, cupboard. There are several sizes of room and you may find you are better off spending a little more on the slightly bigger room as the small studio is small. Not modern but clean and well maintained. There is a free laundry room. At the back of Metz Gare so very conveniently located but also has its own car park - convenient for seeing the Lorraine area as trains run regularly to Luxembourg, Nancy, Strasbourg as well as 1 hr 20 min TGV to Paris. You are responsible for keeping it clean or you can pay a cleaning fee at the end of your stay. Reception has limited opening hours but the staff are very pleasant and speak good English.

“The price for breakfast is pricey for what you get...walk into town for a more memorable dining experience.”
