Just stayed there for a night on a biz trip. However I may stay there again (or not). Nothing special to say, could be good for a stopover or a few days depending on your plans. Or maybe there could be better places around. Not expensive, quiet and with rather basic but good breakfast. Wi-fi is ok but pw is...

Excellent English speaking reception staff (he had worked in Leeds). Simple but comfortable room with an excellent and very clean en suite shower room. Swimmimg pool available though did not use on our whistle stop visit. Atein the restaurant, which had good food andqas reasonably priced.

We 'settled' for this hotel after vain attempts to find a nicer venue in the old part of Castres. To make a long story short, we ended up at l'Occitan, and, I must say, for the price, it was a most acceptable accommodation. AIthough the rooms are ordinary, they're relatively comfortable and the hotel offers many free services and conveniences....

We liked the look of l'Occitan from the road and inquired at reception for a room. The receptionist ask if we wanted breakfast and we declined due to my wife's gluten allergy, explaining that she cannot eat bread or pastries. We did, however, request dinner for that evening and was pleasantly surprised when the waiter already knew the situation and...

A very good hotel where I enjoyed my stay (I am normally somewhat critical). A good restaurant, I had the same menu twice (!). Excellent breakfast with fresh juice. The rooms have been renovated on the first floor and are very comfortable. Only critique is lack of sun chairs (only two) next to the pool. I was told there will...

Stayed here for 1 night in January. Although travelling with a large group, we had our door keys within seconds of arrival. Room was spotless and twin beds were comfortable and clean. Bathroom was a wet room with just a shower. Didn't eat at the hotel in the evening but had a very enjoyable breakfast in the morning with fresh...

We stayed two nights in this hotel moving the second night to a room equipped for disabled. Both room were clean and comfortable but we appreciated the disabled access shower in the second larger room. Parking was good, available in the front and back. Staff spoke English and were helpful and courteous. We chose not to have breakfast at the...

We were a group of 30 motorcyclists staying at L'Occitan for 2 nights. The hotel is about 10-15 minute walk to a very nice town. The staff were very welcoming all spoke perfect English. We had room 208 which was not huge but adequate & had everything that you need. Huge comfortable bed. Small bathroom but newly refurbished & great...

at L'Occitan was a mixed bag. Friendly and helpful receptionists. Hotel looks attractive from the outside and there is parking outside reception or secured parking behind the hotel. I found the room to be clean, faded and claustrophobic-about 4 x4m max plus clean but worn bathroom.( a few leaking taps/pipes) one long window which had an automatically operated steel shutter...

Thoroughly enjoyed a recent stay at the L'Occitan. It was comfortable with large rooms and the meals were excellent with plenty of choice. The staff are truly professional, always cheerful, very accommodating, and happy to help. The hotel is a twenty minute walk from the city centre in a quiet area and has ample car parking space. Lots of sightseeing...
