The word 'Europe' combined with the word 'Hotel' conjures images of a bland looking chain with a sharp/boring logo and over-efficient staff with pale brown suits. Hotel Europe in Castres is just the opposite. This hotel is something of a hotel of curiosities. It has a hotch-potch of styles both with the collection of mad artefacts scattered everywhere and the...

Had a fabulous 2 night stay in this hotel in January 2017. All the staff were friendly and welcoming. The hotel itself is charming - with each room decorated and themed differently! If I ever go back to Castres, this is where I'll be staying! It's ideally located just off the main square in Castres. The perfect stay. LOVED IT.

Stayed for two nights, chap on reception equally wacky but super helpful. Room on top floor with exceptionally slow lift, I mean really slow. Our room was petite with a huge comfy bed and a magnificent open attached bathroom. We had a large air conditioning machine that was actually quite noisy and you couldn't leave it on overnight, but we...

I spent two nights at this hotel and not a single negative thing to say about it. Beautitul room, great service and good breakfasts. I will attack two photos of my room and the hotel. I totally recommend this hotel if you ever visit castres also the price is affordable

Waking in, it appears lovely & quirky. However, most of us had only fans in the room & those w/ an A/C, it ran constantly but was slightly cold for 5 min, warm air for 30! In our room we had the "love nest" on the 4th floor. Jacuzzi tub in corner of room & removable shower head, needless to...

Stayed here overnight whilst on a biking holiday, very friendly reception on arrival. Fantastic decor and rooms. Great Breakfast and very reasonably priced. City centre but pedestrianised so quiet. Castres does seem to close early on weekdays so if you want dinner anywhere order by 8.30 pm

The Hotel Europe is situated in the Centre of Castres. It is truly a boutique hotel. The employees are helpful and attentive. The Hotel with its covered patio is genuine in its set-up. On the stairs leading to the first floor is a church altar with a statue of the Virgin Mary. Antiques and fakes such as the roman sculpture...

Chose the hotel because of the good reviews and I was not disappointed. We were 8 males on a Rugby trip. From the moment we walked in we loved it - the building is beautiful and quirky. The proprietor was very friendly. The twin rooms were excellent with plenty of space. The lift however was the slowest lift in the...

We stayed in Londres, a room decorated with all things British. Good sized room, nice bath and quiet room as the hotel is on a side street. Very conveniently located close to the main square. Very helpful staff, great bar on site and excellent breakfast. We were on a self guided cycling tour and the staff went out of their...
