There were lots of content people sitting around reception.and grumpy brash Spaniards! Receptionist was nice, good English, straightforward process, IT not used they had my booking in a folder - I booked this over the phone for 6 of us and all i can think is DIVE. We checked out the room and the 3 of them were just yucky,...

Firstly the price was double that of a hotel up the roadwhich offered breakfast and evening meals in its price. Other hotels were closer, this one has to be one of the furthest away! Arcades charged €20 per person for each meal whereas a €10 meal deal could be found at a cafe on the bridge. Room carpet was dirty,...

This hotel is very well located, just one step away from the very busy streets leading to the sanctuary. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The food is fine and the service in the restaurant second to none. The only drawback is the size of the rooms (they are very small, indeed) and the quality of the mattresses. So...

We spend only 1 night at The Arcades...thanks God!!; there is no parking for the hotel, you have to park in front but ther is not safety assured. The hotel is not THAT closed to the Grotto, but still be within walking distance. The rooms: ridiculuosly small!!, the bathroom almost impossible to move in!!

The staff was very friendly. When I made a few requests, I got them on time. The rooms are clean and better than I expected. The breakfast was good and better than area restaurants. Also, the hotel is in walking distance of the Grotto. I will stay at this hotel again.

I really didn't expect much from this hotel when I first booked it but I was surprised. Despite the older looking furniture, it was a good hotel to stay at. The front desk wasn't too pleasant and friendly from checking in till checking out but I really was there to visit the grotto and that was more important than dealing...

We enjoyed our stay at the Arcades Hotel. As other reviewers have noted, the rooms are small but adequate. More importantly, the hotel is located within walking distance of the grotto and restuarants in the area. The staff was very accomodating and friendly. What impressed me the most, however, was the service that we received even after we had left...

Very good and clean hotel, allthough the rooms are a bit small. The food is good and it has a very good location, very close to the grotto. Excellent service! Malta

The Arcades Hotel was a good hotel over all. It is an ex-Relais Mercure apparently. The service is good and the rooms are OK - quite comfortable, smallish but clean and with a spotless bathroom. What is remarkable is the breakfast - a massive buffet French breakfast with incredibly soft and fragrant bread and loads of cheese and hams! Even...
