The hotel is off the beaten path with lovely grounds and a walking trail to the lift to the old village. It is modern with very comfortable rooms. There were a few decent restaurants located within walking distance and, of course, all of the offerings at the historical site.

This is a modern hotel set back from the road. The location is mid-way between the historical site and the restaurants/hotels about 1km from it. There are 16 rooms on two levels with garden patio type areas for the rooms downstairs. No restaurant is available but a 12€ breakfast is served. Restaurants are located a short walk away, as mentioned...

Modern hotel with well laid out rooms and set in spacious grounds. Away from the hub bub of the village itself but within easy walking / lift access of it to be still convenient. Friendly staff who made us feel welcome. Did not eat here so cannot comment on breakfast etc. We had the La Fillole room which offered a...

This was our penultimate stop on a week's cycling trip in the Dordogne and an expecially pleasant one. This was mainly due to the very friendly and efficient approach from all the hotel staff throughput our stay as well as the bright and airy rooms.

Excellent personal service from the moment we arrived. Everyone was very cheerful and eager to help. We were not made to feel linguistically sub normal for not speaking French. The pool, the grounds, the breakfast were all really good. We would definitely go back.

In today's world of hotel chains, it is refreshing to stay at a "family" type place. Les Esclargies must be commended for amazing location with easy walk down to the historical part of Rocamadour, clean and comfortable rooms and very friendly staff. Not to forget an amazing breakfast, likely the best we have had for a long time, including local...

Very nice welcome at the hotel. Nice and quiet location although very close to center ville. Would recommend this hotel in Rocamadour. Breakfast was served at the room and it was delicious. Within walking distance to all atractions. JLT

As the hotel is so close to the top of Rocamadour, we were able to see the amazing village by night and day. It was so quiet and tranquil. I was a trifle concerned about a bad smell from the drain, but it was dealt with by the management perfectly.

A very comfortable hotel at the top of this very touristy town. Lovely garden with swimming pool and easy walking distance to the sites. Welcoming staff. Rooms are new but on the small side. Breakfast could be improved. Overall a good option for this town.

This hotel is wonderful. It's set in beautiful parkland, on the edge of Rocamadour. Rocamadour is a bit of a honey-pot - it's very beautiful and has great religous significance. But such places attract lots of tourists - they tend to be busy, a bit crowded, and full of shops selling tat. We were here only in passing - we...
