For a cheap 2 star, we wasn't sure to expect and was pleasantly surprised. Central location and value for money. Capitole accommodated a group booking with no issues and a friendly manager. For the price we paid we had no major complaints, other than lack of twin rooms available.

Was given a huge room on the 4th floor with separate bathroom and separate WC with my own private corridor, so it was very quiet. Very decent breakfast, coffee machine, continental breakfast, fruit, yoghourt . Staff very helpful: recommended a parking for 9 euros a day close by and even collected for me a package I had left in a...

The hotel is very well located. They are in the process of doing some work. The rooms are very basic. The standard rooms are awful and smelly. Some rooms have been renovated but they look cheap with tasteless artworks doted around the place. The lift is very tiny and old. It looks like a lift in communist era somewhere. There...

Hotel Le Capitole was one of the cheapest options in Toulouse so we weren't expecting anything flash. When you walk in the lobby is shiny & new but the rooms themselves are quite old and very small. No room to swing a cat if you're so inclined. The first thing that stood out was the very strong smell of cigarettes...

Staff were very helpful. The hotel itself is really bad need of refurbishment. I would not recommend the rooms very poor condition, although while you look through the poor state of maintainence the hotel is cleaned on closer inspection, good central location.

Situated a few moments walk form the heart of the city centre, this hotel is an ideal base for visiting the many attractions of Toulouse. Bright and modern reception with helpful and happy staff makes a great welcome. This old building has had some renovations and there is a sweeping stair way up to the rooms. The room was big,...

The standard of the room was only good since the general hygiene and cleanliness was not wonderful. The double bed was basic and it was hard to sleep at night for all the noise outside in the street. The staff were very helpful and offer good advise on where to eat and the best attractions to see etc. Breakfast was...

Nice location but you pay for this as it is incredibly noisy at night. People leaving local bars and then street cleaners then finally deliveries. Probably a period of only 2 hours of quiet. Hotel room ok, tired decor and furnishings but in keeping with other 2 star hotels. Nice reception staff. Didn't have breakfast so no comment on that.

My family stayed in a yuppie hotel but I stayed here to save money. Good breakfast, and location. Older rooms, but clean and good for solo travelers. I was on a long vacation after Spain, Morocco, and the south of France getting ready to board our boat to go down the Canal du Midi. We met up here and went...
