This is our umpteenth stay and provides a wonderful start/finish (on occasions both!) to our regular visits to France. Once again Peter and Madeleine were perfect hosts, from the tea and biccys on arrival, comfy room and fabulous evening meal with delicious wine and convivial company. We will return!

We spent one night with in Peter and Madeleine's house and were looked after very well. Tea in their garden was lovely and this was followed by drinks and canapés and then a delicious supper. Peter and Madeleine are very good hosts and it was lovely to spend time talking to them and the other guests over supper.

We stayed there with our son for 1 night on our way from Calais/Eurotunnel to Normandy and had a very pleasant stay. The owners are very friendly and helpful. Nice pre-dinner drinks and dinner with very good service.

This was our first night's stay on the cycle route Avenue Verte. We were warmly greeted by Madeleine and Peter with a tray of tea in the elegant sitting room. Our room and bathroom was comfortable and beautifully decorated. 23 Grand Rue is in the beautiful village of Mesnieres-en-Bray and the view from the rear windows looked out across miles...

Booked a room at Madeline and Peter's place without seeing any pictures. And we did not regret it! A very warm welcome and cup of coffee to start with. You can chill out in the very calming back yard. At 19.30 Peter surprised us with Kir Royal and bellini's. After a while madeline served us a delicious home cooked four...

This is our 3rd stay and once again it was lovely. You are welcomed with tea and biscuits from your friendly hosts. I'd recommend you have dinner with wine. You start with pre dinner drinks and blinis, Madelaine is a great cook and the food is well matched to the wine that Peter sources. If you leave just a little...

We stayed here for one night in September. We were given a warm welcome by Peter and Madeleine. Our room was clean and homely and well equipped with toiletries etc in the en suite. We were so pleased that we'd opted to stay for our evening meal; Madeleine's delicious food, Peter's choice of wines and the lively conversation at the...

We have now stayed here twice. There is always a very warm welcome. The rooms are excellent. Madeleine's food is delicious and well matched by Peter's choice of wine. We find it an easy run from Calais in the afternoon, either on our way to the Loire or Brittany. We will certainly return.

Staying here is a real treat in terms of comfort, cleanliness, fabulous food and a genuinely warm welcome. Madeleine and Peter are exceptional hosts, and the evening meal cooked by Madeleine and enjoyed in their company is stupendous.
