Stayed for two nights, grounds are charming as is the Chateau, staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel is within walking distance of Bayeau, but 800m gets you to the edge of town! It's a good 10-15 min walk in reality. Duplex rooms are very modern book the chateau rooms if you want to stay in the main house. Charming,...

First, the Chateau and grounds are lovely. If you are a family traveling with children or teens, the suites in the old carriage house are wonderful accommodations. We also had rooms 5 & 6 in the main Chateau during our stay. Room #5 is the updated model room, and it is beautifully decorated. Room 6 which is also nice, but...

We (me, my father and my son) stayed for 2 nights in a triple on the top floor of the main house. What I liked best... 1.) common room with a huge fire place 2.) grounds (does qualify as a park) 3.) quiet What I liked less was the decor : The hotel is lit up at night with purple...

The Chateau is set a little way from the town centre (approx 10 -15 mins walk) but this easily overcome as parking in the town is plentiful and reasonable. This is to it's advantage as it is a beautiful property set in lovely grounds. Initally I was concerned about the main road and railway tracks but they are not an...

We only stopped for one night on our travels around Normandy but we absolutely loved it. From the minute that you pass through the gates it feels like you have left the hustle and bustle behind. The garden is beautiful and is full of ducks, geese and swans, very serene. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the roaring...

The hotel is amazing, the staff a joy the food amazing the experience not to be missed. Thanks for looking after us and we will be back. One more thing is bring a camera and witness the amazing bird life in the pond out front.

Our family of five (2 adults, 3 teens) got the entire 4th floor (the top most, with 2 rooms) to ourselves and loved it. We had dinner onsite, which was delicious, and breakfast every morning. Services and staff were also terrific.

My husband and I stayed here with 3 other couples in July-August 2014. We prepaid for our rooms as was required. During our stay we learned of my mother's impending death. The Chateau would not refund the one night that we had to shorten our trip. I understand a policy is a policy. What I cannot accept is that the...

Stayed here in January and had Room No: 1 which was a huge room with desk , fireplace (decorative only) fridge and massive bathroom with shower. Dinner was good and the complimentary starters were fabulous but some dishes better than others. Only disappointment with dinner was quite a few wines were not available , but probably understandable being the off...

My husband and I stayed three nights here in December 2014. Upon arriving we first noted that the grounds were gorgeous. Decorated with Christmas lights the hotel looked lovely. We were given a room in the newly renovated barn building, which was nice and modern but wasn't what we were looking for when we booked a room at a chateau....
