My wife and I had a great stay at the Hotel Churchill. Eric, the owner, went out of his way to make you feel wanted and your stay enjoyable. It is very close to the Normandy shuttle pickup and walking distance to the train station. Would love to stay there again!

My wife and I also had the pleasure of staying at the Hotel Churchill in November. Eric, the proprietor, was very accommodating and made our trip to Bayeux a most memorable one. Our time was limited and Eric arranged for a cab to take us to specific sites in the Normandy area. The hotel is a short walk to several...

My wife and I had the pleasure of staying at the Churchill in early November. The hotel is filled with WWII memorabilia. For those of you visiting Bayeux as per of a D-Day excursion this will set a part of the tone. Our room was very comfortable and reasonably roomy. No, there are no elevators but If you are concerned...

Very well placed in the middle of all the points of interest of Bayeux. Super cosy, awesome atmosphere, decorated with plenty of historical pictures all around, we found ourself looking at the walls as if in a museum. The owner is super nice and helpful and will surely make you feel at home from the beginning.

Charming, historical, conveniently located in Bayeux. Proprietor is very helpful, informative and friendly. If you are a WW2 buff, you will enjoy the historical artifacts all around. Bring your own shampoo and other toiletries. Comfortable rooms. Fantastic breakfast. I would definitely stay here again!

We have just returned from 4 nights at the hotel and thoroughly enjoyed it. The hotel has great character with friendly staff and is in great location to explore Bayeux. The room was really clean and quiet. Other reviews have noted the small rooms - ours certainly wasn't. It was a good size for my wife and I and our...

Stayed here for out trip to Normandy, France. A great place to stay! It was clean. There are no lifts but the staff was willing to carry our bags up to our rooms. The hotel is located in the middle of town which was great so we could walk to every where in town. The drive out to the beaches...

The hotel is ideally located - steps from the tour assembly point and less than five minutes on foot from both the tapestry and the cathedral. The staff members speak excellent English and are extremely courteous and helpful. The hotel is charming and spotlessly clean, full of Churchill and Normandy operation photos and memorabilia.

We stayed here for three nights and absolutely adored the hotel, which is basically a mini museum as it's filled with pictures and memorabilia from the war years. The room was lovely, the bed was comfortable and large, and breakfast was superb. The front staff are super helpful, and recommended lovely restaurants and a shop to get our own Calvados...
